Love this place! If I had the money I’d dine here everyday! I love to come closer to open to have the place to myself. We make it a tradition to definitely go as often as we can! Another one in Hoboken both are awesome!

We came to Sushi Lounge mainly because a nearby ramen place had over an hour wait, so this wasn’t our first choice—but we gave it a try.
The waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and initially helpful, which I appreciated. However, service was slow when it came to checking back on the table, even though the restaurant was not full. I expected more attentiveness given how quiet it was. The service wasn’t horrible, but it definitely could have been better.
The food was disappointing for the price. The entrées had a ton of rice and very little meat or vegetables, and overall the sushi was just average—not anything special. On top of that, everything was extremely expensive. A bottle of seltzer water was $14, which felt excessive. The total bill came out to $150 for one sushi roll, one entrée, two appetizers, one cocktail, and one beer, which did not feel justified based on portion size or quality.
It was also my birthday, which the staff was aware of, but there was nothing done to make the experience feel even a little special.
Overall, the value just wasn’t there, and the experience didn’t match the price point. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

Honestly it’s easy to underestimate the quality of sushi coming out of this place based on the club atmosphere on a Wednesday night but I must say this is some of the best sushi I have ever had. The quality and taste and uniqueness of every roll is unmatched. Came here in a Wednesday night for a random drink got hungry ordered off the menu at 12am so glad I did. Drinks were $8 I would t mind paying more honestly but the sushi was quality. I will def be back.

Food is amazing! Sushi is top notch and they have a nice variety of other items if you don’t feel like sushi. The hibachi menu is great. Love their steak , drinks and desserts. Place was so chill, Great music and ambience! Great place for a date night or even a night with the fellas.

The food was very good and the server was very nice and thorough. Would recommend to stop in. The place is very nicely decorated for Christmas and would be a nice place for a holiday lunch with friends. I had the miso salmon. The glaze was so flavorful and not too sweet. The salmon was cooked well and was very tender.

Today we reserved for outdoor dining and unfortunately it started raining. The owner was so kind and compassionate. He accommodated me and my family. The host was also very pleasant. We ended up taking the food to go and it was a hit!! My 3 children loved it. Although it wasnt the experience we were hoping for with outdoor dining, the food and staff was definitely worth 5 stars.

We came here in a Friday. We use to come here a lot years ago. The usually has a great DJ. Food was good except for the rice seemed a bit hard undercooked and lacked seasoning. Salmon was amazing and flap were the drinks. The server was disappointing. Even though I told him I was going to write a review. He still showed no efforts. I doubt I will be back here for the food. Maybe just bar for the drinks.

The drinks here were so good but the sushi was really tiny and not worth the price they’re charging. Their sushi is the same as any other sushi place around. The only reason I would come back is for the drinks. We got burgers after because we were still hungry after ordering the tiny plates of sushi rolls.
