The food is exceptional, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the service is flawless. You can really feel the delicacy and attention to detail in every course.
The staff makes it even more special. From the owner Paul to Bronson and David, everyone is incredibly friendly and makes you feel right at home.
I can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Dallas.
To put it simply, this place is the best sushi omakase I’ve ever experienced in terms of taste, service, and atmosphere.
Starting with the chawanmushi and the otsumami—which the chef introduced as bar bites—every dish was so memorable that I kept thinking about them long after the course ended.
The sushi that followed, along with the main dishes, were equally impressive.
I chose the Sea course and my companion chose the Land course, and both were absolutely perfect.
And the temaki — I expected a roll because of the name, but it came out in the cutest taco shape! A tiny seaweed taco packed with incredible flavor.
The desserts were also a flawless finish to the meal. My favorite was the Japanese sweet potato ice cream paired with the slightly salty miso sauce—such a unique and unforgettable combination.
They also mentioned that the menu changes seasonally, which gives me the perfect reason to come back and try their new creations in the future.
Sushi Kozy made my Dallas vacation feel complete — and perfectly Kozy, just like its name.
If you’re into Japanese tasting menus or just want a nice dinner spot that’s a little different from regular sushi, definitely recommend checking it out!
The vibe is clean and minimal, and you can tell a lot of care went into the details. Each course is served on imported ceramic pieces hand picked by Chef Paul, which really adds to the overall experience and makes the meal feel intentional and personal.
The winter menu was excellent overall, with a few standout bites:
• Flan with oyster, vin jaune, and caviar
• Hirame kombujime from Jeju, South Korea
• Temaki with toro, nori shell, truffle aioli, and uni
Honestly, everything was solid from start to finish, with great pacing and attention to detail. At $185 per person, the experience felt well worth it for the quality and care behind each dish. A Michelin recommended omakase in Dallas that’s absolutely worth visiting, especially while the winter menu is available.
Seventeen perfectly executed courses that ignite your palate and leave you wanting more. Absolutely flawless.
The menu changes monthly and is priced around $185 for a beautifully executed 17-course meal, with optional add-ons and the opportunity to order à la carte if you’re still hungry at the end (I wasn’t—it was more than satisfying). The experience lasts about two hours, and the ambiance is calm and refined without feeling overly hushed.
Each dish is meticulously crafted and expertly prepared, and the restaurant more than lives up to its Michelin recommendation. If you’ve never experienced a true omakase, Sushi Kozy will fundamentally change how you view sushi. And if you’ve had many, Sushi Kozy will easily rank among the best.
