I ordered the crispy dynamite roll, a chicken teriyaki roll, and the spicy chicken karaage. Everything was really good! The tempura was perfectly crisp, and the chicken tasted fresh and flavorful. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the service was fast. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this restaurant.

This place was once my favorite I’ve been more times then I can count. Relish so many good memories here and good appetite pleasing food.
However in 2025 it’s all changed. Today I was deciding whether or not to venture back here as an update on the reviews were showing what I feared most but didn’t think was truly the new standard.
California roll taste bad like really really really bad to here point where I I ate one and immediately after had to wolf down terriyaki sauce and ginger just to rid my mouth of the bad tasting fishy flavour which permeated the roll.
I left it and later as the serve came by to ask how the meal was… I thought I should be honest so I told her sincerely what I thought expecting her to make things right by offering a new different roll that didn’t have the same filling. But to my surprise she didn’t even offer a new replacement for the same roll. She talked with the chef guy who complained in their native tongue and she relayed that it was the same as it has always been which it was not!
So gross I’ll be letting all my friends know this is no longer any establishment worth visiting.
$20 for a unappealing meal. These bento boxes are normally around $14-16 at other establishments during lunch hour. They have no lunch specials either…

I always come here, probably 2-3 times a week with my coworkers or family, and with good reason! It is the best Sushi I’ve tried in Surrey and Vancouver (and the price is not bad either). The service is always fast, friendly, and overall amazing. Kudos to them for taking care of my purse and keeping it safe when I forgot it at the restaurant one day. There is plenty of parking too! It’s worth giving it a try. (Also they have the best k-pop Playlist, they always play the groups I like)

Had a wonderful experience at sushi king george! The restaurant is a cozy and welcoming spot with amazing service and food. We came as a larger group and ordered a variety of sashimi, rolls and tempura and the staff were very accommodating and the food came out quickly. The sashimi is fresh and the cuts are huge! The salmon and scallop oshi are also very delicious and the mr. king roll is a must try. 10/10 recommend!

If you’re in Surrey and craving a quick sushi fix, this is the place for you! Staff is very welcoming and service is super fast! Food is always great, there’s a variety of sushi rolls to chose from and there’s something for everyone. I’m not a fan of raw food so this works out great for me! Everything is super fresh and just melts in your mouth. We got the combo platter with 8 sushi rolls, it’s a big portion and we had leftovers as it was only 2 adults. The prawn tempura is a must try it’s so light and crispy just how a perfect tempura should be! Overall this place is a 8/10 for me! Loved everything about this location. Not much of a choice of non-alcoholic beverages here but there’s always green tea which is good for a cold day in Surrey BC.

One of the best sushi place in the area! The sushi is amazingly fresh and I can tell that the chef has a lot of experience handling the ingredients. We ordered toro nigiri and I can see each cut is very delicate and it immediately melts inside your mouth! Super friendly staff and the price for the quality was top notch. The only thing is they didnt have AC but to be fair I did go during the heat wave haha. Don’t forget to ask then to fry the prawn’s head!

Ordered some takeout one night that I just wanted to chill in my hotel room. Quick online order of a few rolls plus a miso soup is what was submitted. The rolls were fresh filling and tasty. Just love the seeet yam roll and BC roll. Ordered some salmon sashimi also and it was on point. When in BC one must indulge in West coast salmon. Definitely a good place quick and efficient. Thank you.
