Authentic Japanese food! It may sound a bit wierd but I had even enjoyed wasabi they served.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing dinner here. We didn’t have a reservation (make sure to call ahead for one!) but we were lucky enough to be the last group to be seated for the night.

Really small place, one Chef at the sushi bar. One person waiting staff and a person in the kitchen to assist with the cooked dishes. I’ve been turned down at least a few times as they were busy so I would strongly suggest to call ahead and inquire for reservation. I now know and would always call ahead unless I show up near the opening time 5:30pm.

Really good authentic sushi and a warm Japanese atmosphere. We can dine and enjoy our time the traditional Japanese way. Highly recommended.

One of my favorite sushi spots in the South Bay. Traditional Japanese sushi bar and everything is delicious. Omakase is a great deal and it is all premium fish.

My favorite value sushi place. Don’t let the setting fool you, he serves high quality imported fish and has a brother in Japan with a Michelin Star so he knows what he is doing. But don’t expect anything but very traditional nigiri and dishes. Nothing flashy or fusion.

Incredibly rude, ill-tempered and disrespectful sushi chef/owner. The seaweed was chewy, and the edamame tasted old. No wonder we were the only customers on a Saturday night at 6:30. We left after the handroll and appetizers to go to a better, friendlier place.

Absolutely a hidden gem. A mom and pop establishment, Sushi Chef Ken is a true master. Peep on the walls the competitions he’s won. Don’t be afraid to make special requests, the fish is always fresh and usually imported. Recommended!

Best sushi and sashimi I’ve ever had outside of Japan. Great lunch special too, so you can still enjoy when on a budget.
