We eat a lot of Japanese food but this place is exceptional. The menu is diverse but not excessive with choice which can sometimes be overwhelming. I had an abundance of seafood, oysters, sashimi and takoyaki. Everything was superb in taste and excellently presented. The portions were generous without being overwhelming which left space for choice. My husband had chicken and pork dishes including the ramen which tasted as if even the noodles had been made in house (though I didn’t confirm). I think my favourites were the tempura crab and the Rainbow roll the later which is a delight to look at and as tasty as it looks. The staff were attentive and helpful. Highly recommend!

It was so beautiful in there, I couldn’t recommend it enough. Such good prices and amazing portions. Waiter was amazing and helped us so much navigate the menu, 10/10 experience. The Sushi was fresh and so flavourful. Not to mention how peaceful it was in there, was just the perfect restaurant. Will be going back again thank you.

We had the 18-pc sushi and sashimi lunch special and everything was fresh. The unagi rice bowl and teriyaki chicken were also really good and well proportioned for the price. Overall a great experience. Would definitely come back!

A MUST visit! Where do I begin? My family and I visited this restaurant on a Sunday evening so fairly quiet. We were met with a very warm embrace. The restaurant is clean, cosy and stylish. Our waiter was super friendly and attentive. The food was amazing. If you are looking for tasty a meal with excellent service then you must visit. You will not be disappointed. The extra touches also were greatly appreciated from showing us how to use chop sticks to explaining the menu in detail and shaking our hands when we left. We left feeling 100% satisfied and will definitely be returning.

(Didn’t catch out servers names but they were a gentelman and lady working August 2nd)Decided to go there with my girlfriend on a date night, from the get go the staff were incredibly polite and friendly, they informed us there were only two tops available were towards the toilets or by the bar. We chose the bar and the honoured that decision with fun banter. The food and drink were both excellent. We were checked up on frequently and offered more drinks through our time there. We will definitely be returning!

Incredible. I will write a proper review once I’ve been through my notes but for me this is the most exciting restaurant that Shrewsbury has right now. I ordered sashimi and sushi rice and both were perfect. The squid served with strawberries embodied everything that I love about Japanese fusion cuisine.
I particularly like the following little touches;
1. Excellent front of house team that includes a friendly, and attentive concierge.
2. Real wasabi sauce. Yes you read that right. It’s the real deal. Trust me. Fortunately, the exceptional concierge brought a glass of water over straight away which I really appreciated.
3. The genuine wasabi opened up my tastebuds for the spectacular meal and I savoured every bite.

What an incredible place, by far the most tranquil and bonita restaurant in Shrewsbury. The food, the music, the service and the atmosphere combined made for a very special date night. The fillet beef teriyaki is fantastic.
