Now you can go to one of those super fancy, overpriced Sushi restaurants in Miami or you can come to the most authentic family run and owned Sushi spot in Miami. We’ve been coming to Sushi Joe for at least 20 years and the quality and freshness is as great as on our first visit. Our favorites and the fried JB Tempura and the bok choy! A hidden gem in Doral – underrated simply because it’s not widely known. Honestly, it’s better than several of the more ‘trendy’ sushi spots in the area. Walking in feels like stepping into a little corner of Japan for a while. Highly recommended. Quality food is great and sushi rolls and rise options are amazing, please try the dumplings , awesome taste.

A wonderful place and a pleasant surprise. Sushi Joe is a small neighbor restaurant with giant flavors. We went for dinner and the place was packed but felt very cozy and relaxed. Although it was a busy night, we were greeted quickly, with a warm and welcoming attitude. They have an amazing number of Japanese dishes, including fresh fish, sushi rolls, pork, steaks and vegetarian options. We selected JB roll, California roll, kanisu salad, and the shrimp shumai, which were brought out quickly and full of delicious flavor. The prices are very reasonable and we felt we had a great value for what we spent. The restaurant is nicely decorated and it reminds me of the some of the small neighborhood places in NYC when I was growing up. The staff is super friendly and attentive, and they made us feel like family. I’ll be back soon and I highly recommend the wonderful restaurant to everyone.

This place is a hidden gem. Family owned for 20+ years. The chef and staff are Japanese. They speak Spanish too. The fried crab was amazing and the rolls were all made with fresh fish you can taste. The Japanese imported beer was wonderful.

Tonight I ordered uber eats from Sushi Joe Doral to be delivered to me at Jackson West hospital as I am staying overnight with a loved one in ICU. I mentioned to the restaurant that I am in the hospital and have no access to utensils to please make sure to send some and they went above and beyond. They sent everything I asked for and included this super nice note as well as included a free beverage. Thank you sushi Joe for the amazing service and kindness. The food was also delicious.

Well I think I need to get lost often!!! By some random grace of the food Gods, we ended up at sushi Joe, and it was the best think that could happen to us. Wednesday night and nowhere to go and we wanted sushi, we were looking for a different spot but was closed and randomly we saw sushi Joe, didnt want to go in just because of the name boy was i wrong, none other but Joe himself took care of us and it is just a great local hangout where everyone knows each other, and we loved it, and want more and we’ll be back Joe!!! Ask for the Jumping Fernando, thank me later!!!..

Food is very good . No complains. My bowl with rice and sashimi (chirashi bowl) was very good. Traditional place. Full of Japanese or maybe Korean guys. Service is extremely slow

Super cute local spot that has been in Doral since basically it’s incorporation. While not every many vegan options, their bok choy is a must have. As is their veggie roll.

Sushi Joe never disappoints. I just came home from a long day and was really craving the Krabby roll with shrimp tempura on the side. I recommend to get it with spicy mayo sauce it just adds an extra wonderful kick to both. This place is delicious and the waitress who attended me is very sweet.
