Went there for my birthday with my friends and family for their 18 course omakase. It was my first omakase experience, and let’s just say, they set my expectations high.
Each course was more delectable than the last, and sitting at the bar to see the chefs in action only added to the one of a kind experience.
The staff was kind, hospitable, and always made sure we were taken care of.
The highlight of my night was the gorgeous birthday cake they made for me! It wasn’t just a small desert plate, they made an ENTIRE CAKE and gave me a custom rose bouquet. My boyfriend, who made the reservation, put the occasion in the notes, but the staff went above and beyond to deliver an unforgettable night!
I’ve never been to a restaurant that treated me so well on my birthday!

Absolutely incredible omakase experience. Every single bite tasted like the best food I’ve ever had, impeccably fresh, perfectly balanced, and made with truly luxurious ingredients. You can feel the care and intention behind each course. The staff were just as amazing as the food: incredibly kind, thoughtful, and genuinely attentive. Every course was thoughtful, balanced, and beautifully executed. The foie gras was incredible, the salmon was exceptional, and each piece felt precise and refined. Lots of care goes into the seasonal selection and overall flow of the meal. An exquisite experience from start to finish.

Just BLOWN AWAY by the experience! I came for my birthday and they made it so special. Surprised me with flowers and an extra appetizer that was BOMB! The sushi was top tier and definitely reminded me of Japan. I go there often so I know! Phenomenal people made it all the better! Get the 18 course Omakase…you won’t regret it! Highly recommend and I will frequent this place. Shout out to you Chef Marcelo, Yoyo and Ze! Incredible!

I came here for my birthday and had the BEST time! They made the night so memorable. Ze and Cici are phenomenal! It was a high class experience with a family feel. We booked a tatami room and it was a nice, private atmosphere, but we will definitely be back at the bar soon! Highly recommend!

From booking, to walking into their establishment for our reservation, and throughout our dinner experience, their staff were personable and attentive. The presentation and variety were everything you would expect. The flavor of the appetizers, the main course, and dessert were exceptional. The Chefs presented the fish they were going to serve us, explained the curing process, and described each course as it was served. The artistry and precision was equal to if not better than the experience we had previously experienced while visiting Japan. I highly recommend this establishment.

I finally tried Sushi Izuki in Orlando and it was honestly one of the best omakase experiences I’ve had in Florida. The restaurant is small and intimate, so the entire meal feels personal and curated. We came in for the 17-course omakase but was greeted with a 18-course, and every dish came out beautifully prepared with super fresh fish and thoughtful flavors.
The chefs explain each piece as they serve it, and you can really tell how much care goes into the ingredients — especially the dry-aged fish and the unique toppings. A few bites genuinely surprised me in the best way. The pacing was perfect too: enough food to leave you full, but not overly stuffed.
The vibe inside is clean, minimal, and upscale, even though it’s tucked into a simple plaza. Service was incredibly attentive, and the whole experience felt special without being pretentious.
If you’re looking for high-quality sushi, a true omakase experience, or a spot for a date night or celebration, Sushi Izuki is absolutely worth it. I’d definitely come back.

For this price, the quality of sushi is honestly an amazing value,
even more affordable than some omakase experiences we’ve had in Japan.
The menu listed 4 seasonal appetizers,
but the chef kindly served us 5, which already showed how thoughtful they are.
From uni and premium wagyu, to a variety of fresh and dry-aged fish,
every course was carefully explained.
When we were taking photos and videos, the staff even brought the dishes closer for us — such a small but meaningful gesture.
The highlight of the night:
a complimentary wagyu don and a rose to celebrate my husband’s birthday.
It turned the dinner into a truly unforgettable birthday experience.
