We absolutely loved this sushi restaurant! It’s extremely kid-friendly, and the kids’ menu has great options that even picky eaters will enjoy. The whole place is very clean with cute, cozy decorations that make the vibe feel welcoming for both adults and children.
The staff are super friendly, attentive, and patient with families. You can really feel the warmth from everyone working there. And the owner is amazing, so kind, caring, and clearly passionate about creating a wonderful experience for guests.
Highly recommend for a family night out, casual lunch, or anyone looking for delicious sushi in a friendly, comfortable environment! ✨

Sushi In Joy is a local all-arounder. The food is delicious, portions are generous, and the quality of the fish is rich and good. I got the Salmon Lovers teishoku and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of small dishes included with the generous main. To top it all off service and ambience were wonderful. Amazing fresh sushi here! The rice is seasoned very well and all the fish is super good quality. Can’t wait to try more of their dishes and rolls! Chirashi and sakedon bowl are great portion sizes.

Sushi in JOY absolutely earns its name. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff are genuinely welcoming and attentive. Most importantly, the sushi is remarkably fresh. We especially loved the rich, savory eel sushi and the Washington rolls, which were excellent. Considering the reasonable prices, it is a place we are excited to return to.

We loved Sushi In Joy before we moved out of the area last year. We recently came back for a visit with family and picked up dinner for all of us at Sushi In Joy. Everything was perfect! The food was amazing–even our 7 year old twins loved it, especially the miso soup. Sushi and poke bowl made fresh with care (we watched!). We will certainly be back the next time we visit. If you haven’t already, please give Sushi In Joy a try–you won’t be disappointed. 🙂

Fun experience. Loved the atmosphere inside with the curtains, etc. Very good quality food, could even tell with the Wasabi, generous portions. It’s off the beaten path, but IMHO it is well worth it. Incredible variety to their menu. Great value here compared to other places in Bellevue.

A little unknown gem in Bellevue, delicious food, generous servings and good price for this area. My lunch (chicken katsu bento box – see photo) was very large and included miso soup. I would definitely recommend and go again!

Ordering online was easy and we could pay online also. The food was great. Nice pieces of sashimi! The chicken curry was tasty with a lot of rice. The gyoza was a nice addition.
