Everything was amazing from start to finish! The sushi was super fresh, the rolls were flavorful, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. The presentation was beautiful and the service was attentive without being overwhelming. Great ambiance and overall a great experience. Highly recommend!

This was our first time visiting Sushi Ichiban, and we were pleasantly surprised by how mellow and relaxing the atmosphere was. I went with my children, and we all really enjoyed the food. The tempura was by far my favorite perfectly crispy and absolutely delicious.
We ordered two sushi rolls, and to my surprise, they were much bigger and more flavorful than I expected. Everything tasted fresh, and the presentation was great.
They also offer a kids’ menu, which includes a bento box with your choice of chicken or beef. It comes with solid white rice and even an option to add sushi, making it perfect for kids around eight and under. My kids really enjoyed it!
Overall, Sushi Ichiban is a great spot for sushi in Yuba City. The customer service was really good, the food was delicious, and we will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

We tried 3 different rolls and the ramyun and it all met or exceeded expectations. We did have a problem with the fish in one of the rolls as a couple of pieces of eel were not properly deboned and had a couple of pin bones but the staff immediately corrected the problem. All the staff in the restaurant were very friendly and made the restaurant feel welcoming. Overall great spot to dine at.

This place is great. The sushi was top notch, everything tasted great, and the portion sizes were giant. This is one of the first sushi places I’ve been to where I’ve actually had leftovers. The staff were all super nice, and the menu was huge. I would recommend this to anyone, I loved it.

I must say that I was skeptical at first. Our favorite sushi place was closed, so we decided to try Sushi Ichiban and were NOT disappointed! On the contrary – the size of the sushi rolls in relation to the fresh fish proportions and $$ – was very good! The staff was very friendly, attentive, patient, and simply fun to talk to! We will definitely be back for more!

I have always had a great experience dinning in. Great food and excellent food service. However, this is the second time I have ordered online and both times they made me wait over 30 minutes past my order “pick up time”. This time I ordered at 4:52 pm and when the order was placed it said it would be ready in 35 minutes. I arrived at 5:39pm and they had not even started my order. I did not get my food until 6:04pm.

In a nutshell; pretty ok place with a nice selection of food, sushi’s ok, ramyun’s ok, pretty ok all around.
Though far from what I’d dub as number one sushi as it’s name eludes, I’d still be more than welcome to pick this place to dine in at and get some good food to pass the rain or some time at. The waitress was certainly accommodating, was seated fairly easily, and my order didn’t take too long so all really good traits to start. It almost felt diner like as opposed to a Japanese feel type of establishment, but that didn’t really deter too much from the food in my opinion. Sushi tasted alright and it had a good amount of rolls for my one order of sushi. Ramyun was certainly as it’s intended very instant like but more dressed up in a sense, tasted as ok as I thought it’d be. If I do have one qualm, is that , my booth seat seems to not be bolted down so at times it would move and collide with the wall so sometimes I’d feel I’d have to be very careful adjusting and what not. Overall pretty ok place to eat at.

Great little sushi spot! Moderately priced, my bento box was about $20, and the server we had was sweet and came by every once in a while to make sure the food was to our liking. I got a california roll and tonkatsu as my 2 main orders for my bento. I ordered the Nutella cheesecake for dessert, a little too frozen but once it was room temp it was great!
The inside lobby is nice, I feel like the seating could be updated more but overall a wonderful experience for my first time going. My brother loves this place!
