Waited an hour to he seated and they seated newcomers ahead of us. We are a large party. Dont know how they forgot we were here. Understaffed. Multiple other groups and carry out parties waiting as well.
When we were seated, no one came to take our order. Had to chase down a waiter. The only waiter. Who “didnt know he was assigned to our table”
Food was decent. Nothing to write home about but not bad.
Only dine in if you got all evening.

I love sushi but this made our stomachs hurt the rest of the night. Also their combination for sushi rolls is kinda weird. I don’t think I would go back again but I enjoyed the ambiance and the service. It took a long time to get our food but I didn’t mind that. Our server was excellent. The sushi itself though, disappointing considering we spent all night wondering how we could feel so nauseas from it. Also our nigiri seems to have been served to someone else with soy sauce on the bottom of some of them and garnish only on two of the pieces. It was just weird.

First time dining at Sushi Heeya. They have a pretty large menu. Lots of items to choose from.
Their bottle of Pellegrino was the smallest I’ve ever seen. The Asahi beer bottle is 11.4 ounces. Their rolls are decent. Wasabi should be stronger. I wish they had more veggie items to choose from.

Sushi Heeya never disappoints. The wide variety on their menu takes forever to go thru but its always worth it in the end. Everyone here is so nice and welcoming. We will definitely be back!!

I ordered fresh vegetables cooked. There were one or two days old and wilted. The shrimp tempura had excessive battering and not in the tempura fashion. The shrimp sticks were the same way with too much batter and too much oil. This place is absolutely terrible.

Incredible sushi right in your hometown! We regularly dine in Atlanta and are self proclaimed foodies. We enjoy sashimi at places like MF Sushi as well as other fine dining experiences. Sushi Heeya always has a unique presentation and first class dining service. We LOVE Novie- she provides an excellent dining experience and she is the best server!! Great choice for lunch or a date night on the local.

I had the Sushi+Sashimi Combination with an additional adventurous chef selection. The platter was laid out well and all of the pieces were described to me upon service. The best of the dish were the sea urchin, flying fish roe+quail egg, the torched scallops and what surprised me the most was the spicy tuna roll. The pieces I thought to be on the lesser were the eel and the yellowtail. I have had sushi many times and this is just my opinion based on preference. My wife enjoyed her shrimp hibachi. The ginger salad was really good with house made ginger dressing. We were also served a crab tempura roll which was well balanced and flavorful. Atmosphere was very nice well layed out space. Service was better than most, with friendly staff and attentative service

We decided to order pick up. I told her on the phone I was allergic to dairy and eggs so no mayo sauces. We ordered 2 unagi and 2 mango b.b. and calamari. They said it would take an hour. I had some errands to run but arrived after 40 minutes just to check. They charged me $36.65 but in the bag was only the mango b.b. and calamari. I called after in my car and she said there was a mix up. She thought I didn’t want the unagi because it had cream cheese. She said she’d make the unagi and avacado to be ready in 15 minutes. In the meantime we took a look at the mabgo b.b. the first roll was good. The calamari was cold and a little rubbery. There were maybe 6 pieces. Then, the second mango b. b. had cream cheese. When we went in for the unagi I brought back the mango roll. I’m not paying 13 dollars for food I can’t eat. They promptly admitted it was a mistake and remade the roll.
