The service was okay. My waitress came to our table 4 times. Never asked if I wanted another drink, never brought us water. It was a very odd experience.
The food is good there, but pricey. I do love getting sushi Hana, but usually take out. Tonight was sit down. The atmosphere is very bland and not pleasant. For the cost of two to eat there, you would expect a little bit more. I think I will have to order pick up vs. sit down.
The shrimp tempura and temptations rolls are my two personal favorites.

Recently moved to Towson and wanted to see what the sushi situation was like. I’ve had Kpot plenty of times, Hot Pot, and a few Mexican spots so I figured this would also be a great option to have on hand.
I will immediately say that the wait staff is great. Very attentive, very friendly, incredibly helpful. The restaurant is nice inside, nothing special really, but doesn’t take away from the experience at all. Their selection of sake was great, as was the specialty sushi rolls, appetizers, sashimi and nigiri sushi. I will most certainly not be making the mistake of having anything other than the sushi or appetizers in the future. Got both beef teriyaki and negimaki, as I and who i was with were in the mood for beef. I have never had beef that was both so incredibly bland and poorly cooked. The teriyaki had virtually no flavor to it, and the fried rice did the entree absolutely no favors. I ended up taking everything home and frying everything with some of my own teriyaki and it was significantly better after the addition of just a touch of seasoning.
Ultimately this spot seems to be fantastic for sushi, apps, and drinks.. as far as the entrees go.. unless there’s a decent option I havent found yet, i will be driving into other counties for anything of that nature as those two dishes severely diminished my expectations of any restaurants I havent even tried in the area seeing as how this place is somehow rated so highly.

We ordered recently and everything arrived fresh and delicious. The Gyoza and Miso Soup were perfect starters, and the sushi was excellent, especially the Sweet Potato Tempura and Salmon rolls. Highly recommend!

Every Tuesday is date night here, and we absolutely love it. Our two bartenders are the best in Towson — friendly, fast, and always make us feel at home. The service was subpar. Food was edible, on the bland side. Even the wasabi was a bland, found that strange. We had stomach cramps after dinner. Hoping it’s not food poisoning. Overall, the restaurant can improve on both service and food flavor. The waitress didn’t care to explain the menu when asked about sushi and seemed in a rush.

Sushi Hana is genuinely the only sushi I will eat in Maryland. Whenever anyone suggests getting sushi I tell them only if we go to Sushi Hana. It’s semi nostalgic for me having grown up going to Mt Washington and Timonium (now closed) locations but regardless of that everything is always clean, consistently fresh and beautifully plated, accommodating and really easy going.

I really like this sushi spot. The ambiance is very nice, it’s always clean, calm, and a great place to hang out. The Summer Heat Roll is my favorite, it’s fresh and has just the right amount of kick. I did have one visit where the server seemed uninterested and in a rush despite there not being very many people in the restaurant, but every other time the service has been great. Overall, it’s one of my go-to sushi places in the area.

If I could give 0 stars I most certainly would. Food was terrible! The waitress was extremely rude to me for asking a question about the menu because I had never been there. She literally yelled at me. DO NOT waste your money!!
