Best sushi in Mansfield! We are always blown away with Sushi Gio and how great everything is. We always wish they had more seating so we could go more often but it’s also what keeps it so quaint. Quality over quantity is the name of the game!

Delicious and fresh sushi! I love their selection of rolls and how it’s served on a boat. I highly recommend trying the salmon belly sushi, charming roll, salmon torched roll and snow mountain roll. The butterfly kiss roll is also good for those who don’t want rice. It can get very busy, however, just be patient. It’s definitely worth the wait.

Sushi Gio is a tiny, cozy sushi spot in with just a few tables, so it feels pretty homey. You order from a screen at your table, which is easy but also a little confusing. They’d let us know that whatever is not on the screen from the menu is not available for order. The scallop and salmon belly were the stars. They sear the salmon belly lightly so it’s not chewy, and it just melts in your mouth. Prices were really fair for the quality, so I left feeling happy and full without breaking the bank.

Words cannot begin to describe how amazing this place is. The sushi is VERY fresh, flavorful, and downright exceptional! The fried rice with shrimp is outstandingly delicious. I’m normally a huge fan of sushi restaurants, but this one really blew my mind compared to all the other ones I’ve been to. This place will definitely be my go-to spot when I’m craving sushi. The workers are very attentive and friendly to their customers. The restaurant itself is very tiny, clean, and has a cozy vibe to it. I don’t care if you’re from all the way in north Dallas or Fort Worth, Sushi Gio is 100% worth that long drive!!!!

Has about 5 tables and 8 seats at the bar.
So make sure you call to see if there’s space before you go in.
Lots of people showed up and left or had to wait a while.
It is worth the wait tho.
Pretty good sushi for a little hole in the wall spot away from the major city.
Quality is not bad.
Variety is pretty vast.
Service is great, but a little slow on a full house
And the appetizers are pretty good, especially the karaage.
Will most likely visit again if I’m in the mood for sushi and less than a 10 min drive.
