I was disappointed with the menu selection and its taste. Almost all the sushi have cream cheese in it. I ordered the Jay Hawk and beef pho. I get it the pho is not their specialty, but at least give more meats. I only have a few slices of beef and very little bean sprouts. The pho was salty and sushi falls apart when picking it up.

The waitress/owner I think was so sweet! She even laughed out jokes and made us feel very welcome. The rolls were delicious and tasted fresh! A surprising hole in the wall:)

Craving sushi and came here on a recommendation.
Located in Lansing off No Main Street between IHOP and Taco John’s.
What we ordered:
1.) Shrimp Tempura $8.95 the outer crust was too thick and fried a bit too long.
2.) Gyoza $6.95 tasty with dipping sauce, but fried a bit too long.
3.) Crabby Dragon $25.95 I requested no eel sauce and wanted Spicy Mayo instead, but it came with the Eel sauce all over.
4.) Spicy Tuna hand rolls (2) $11.90 the tuna was not spicy at all.
5.) Super Alaska Roll $14.95 the fish was fresh and this one was tasty.
While the fish and ingredients were fresh, they lacked flavor.

This is the only place in town where you can get pho, and it was pretty decent. I also tried the chicken teriyaki and the hwedupbap (Korean sashimi rice bowl) both were just okay.
The hwedupbap came with tuna, salmon, and a small amount of fish roe, but the portion of fish was quite small. If you like vegetables, though, this dish might be a good choice.

I have been wanting to check this place out for quite a while and they before yesterday was the day I stopped in because they had a sign out saying there was a lunch special couldn’t tell a word about what was on that special because it just didn’t recognize any of it. Except sushi.
The service was outstanding very there, but not there, always ready to fill a glass, clean, courteous it was outstanding.
The sushi was fresh. I mean absolutely fresh it was delicious and there’s only sushi was very fast for as busy as they were.
I understand there’s only one cook in the kitchen. She got her stuff out just perfect and I’m telling you it was great, you get anybody who likes Chinese food would love this.
I was just amazed at the different flavors that this place has compared to other Chinese places and it’s just phenomenal. It’s worth a trip to Leavenworth to eat here. If you don’t believe me, try it for yourself.
One more thing this is a very small place hole in the wall. It’s not very expensive and you can enjoy it. It’s quiet. It’s a place for being able to talk at the same time and not having a screen because of the radio, or the music or the, other people having lunch there is a rare place. Check it out.

There’s just one thing I can’t understand. Does smiling at a guest normalize any quirky behavior? I’ll explain it to other customers so they understand what to expect. If you show up alone (there was no sold out) but want to sit on the sofa, you can’t. You haven’t even had time to grab a menu yet, and they immediately tell you where you can sit and where you can’t. I would understand if there were a lot of people and everyone wouldn’t fit. The room was empty and there was no “reserve” sign. You’re clearly making it clear to your guests that whoever leaves the most will get to sit on the soft sofa, even though you don’t even know how much I want to leave. I want to say one thing: don’t lose face and customer loyalty in the pursuit of money. Even if you don’t treat them as guests first and foremost, don’t show with your actions that they’re just sacks of cash that owe you theirs, and that you should leave quickly and stay out of the way because you need more money from this table.

The best sushi in Leavenworth county. Oh, and the best pho! Small family owned business. Fantastic food and I have never had a complaint eating here. This is where I go when I’m burnt out and need to clear my mind. Saki is quality and so are the owners!

Giving two stars for a variety of reasons. When we arrived at the restaurant and was talking to the waitress, they did not have anything that we normally order at sushi restaurants. They only have one sake and it is not cold. Just to be aware they do not have salmon eggs, quail eggs, masago or takoyaki. We ordered the large boat and as the sushi was good, I found a hair on my food. That kind of killed the entire sushi plate for me. Also, they do not have dessert. On their menu. It names the dessert but in (it says sold out. So they are advertising that they are all sold out of every dessert and probably for a long time if they put it on their menu. I asked the waitress for ponzu sauce and she asked me what is ponzu sauce. They could also use more staff here..

This is the best restaurant you will find in Leavenworth. The staff is friendly and the food is fantastic. They are very customer service oriented and the food gourmet quality. If you want to eat good, this is the only place you need to go to
