dine in seating is available however all dishes come served in takeout form regardless. very thorough and accommodating for my sesame and gluten allergies. ingredients tasted fresh and the staff was friendly and patient. it may have helped that nearby colleges were on winter break, but not crowded, no wait time!

It’s build-your-own fast food sushi and rice bowls. There’s a menu you can order off or build your own totally from scratch. I ordered the vegan burrito off the menu. The “burrito” is like a giant handheld sushi roll. Mine was rolled pretty neatly (although it doesn’t look like it in my photo) and held together well even though I had it made with brown rice which tends to not stick as well as white. It was really good! I really liked the sweet spicy combination of mango and sweet chili sauce with the smoked tofu. Nice healthy serving of tofu. Good amount of seating in store. Friendly staff. Great choice for a quick, healthy meal.

Ordered ahead of time a Fire Bowl (tuna, kimchi, veggies and rice). Easy to order and pick up. Made sure I grabbed chopsticks on way out as it wasn’t in bag but no big deal. Had them hold the sauce which they did so they def pay attention to the notes in the order. Kimchi was so so good and I was surprised how good it was. Def order again. SECOND VISIT – They didn’t look at the notes to hold the spicy mayo 🙁 That was disappointing as I didn’t want extra calories nor the heat.

This place definitely isn’t bad, and I feel the rating is a tad low. Now, I haven’t tried their sushi, but they’re poke bowls — those are quite good, I believe. I tried their Build Your Own Poke bowl, which I created with brown rice, smoked salmon, tempura flakes, soy sauce, carrots, corn, edamame, and sweet chili sauce.
The portion itself was good, and a solid price as well. The location is confident, too. The food itself, I felt was pretty good quality. Although they called it smoked salmon, it didn’t have a very strong Smokey flavor, but it was still good.
The vegetables seemed to be fresh. The brown rice was well cooked, and the sauces blended together well. They gave me numerous packets of soy sauce on the side.
All in all, very solid place. Is it the best or the most authentic? No, but it’s quick, has good prices, a confident location, and solid food.

Its perfect for weekday meals when you are in a hurry and need something tasty and filling. There is some seating inside but most people opt for takeaway from my experience. It can be pretty crowded with students but service is pretty fast. I usually go for the poke bowl because of the quantity of rice. The seafood are nice but nothing extraordinary. I love to have shrimp tempura in my bowl but ones here are sometimes soggy because they are sitting there for a while. A bowl can range from anywhere between $10-20 depending on the toppings!

The food was good. The price is reasonable. I ordered take out and they had the food ready early.
The annoying thing is that there were no utensils in the sealed bag with the food. I got back to our hotel and realized there were no chop sticks, spoons, forks, etc. I ordered a poke bowl. I didn’t want to eat it with my fingers. The restaurant was a ten minute walk from the hotel. I didn’t want to walk another 20 minutes back and forth again just to get a plastic fork. I figured something out, but it was very annoying.
Make sure you get utensils from them before you leave the restaurant, if you order take out!

This is a great place if you like to customize your sushi. Having the bowl, burrito, or normal sushi roll style options as well as control over what goes in it are nice if you’d rather just eat your sushi with a spoon rather than chopsticks. Don’t expect sit-down restaurant authentic, high-quality sushi but it’s a solid choice for a quick lunch. I usually opt for the Fire Bowl or whatever the monthly bowl special is, but the rolls are pretty good as well. If you’re near CMU or Pitt, this place is a great place to try if you’re craving sushi.

The sushi quality was superb, The staff is super friendly and on point, no joke 10 out 10 will go again because of them. The experience. Of walking in off the street is awesome little small if you happen to have more than 6 in a group. Other than that it’s super clean and well maintained.

Unfortunately, yet another experience with this place where the owner is unnecessarily nickel and diming customers. Now, they no longer give you a bag to carry your food out with you. Like what? I asked for a bag. They charge $.12 to carry the food out of their establishment.
Just absolutely, absolutely ridiculous. And of course they don’t have packets of soy sauce; oh no, they use plastic cups. So I had to balance my soy sauce on top of my meal the whole walk home. While crossing 5th Avenue. Honestly the owner’s cheapskate petty greed is despicable.

The food itself tasted good, decently fresh fish. That said the rolls are made worse than some make-at-home kit and free all feel apart nearly instantly. Great value for the cost, as long as you can deal with the rolls falling apart, this place is a great, and quick meal for the cost.
