Small and quiet place on a Saturday afternoon. Received quick and attentive service. Prices a reasonable and typical of this type of establishment. The house spring rolls were average. The tornado was quite good. The hell and lava rol were delicious but could always be spicier. Great flavor and presentation of the rolls but more kick to the spiciness next time. Overall good experience. Enjoy my foodie connoisseurs.

Overcooked and bland, sorry! We ordered this via doordash. You get a lot of food but none of it was very good. I got the Tonkatsu Ramen, ginger salad, and spring rolls. The pork was bone dry and broth was bland, with one hard boiled egg. The chicken was also bone dry in the spring rolls and had no flavor, the peanut dip didn’t help either. Overall, I honestly wouldn’t recommend, I feel bad because I’m sure it’s a nice place but I feel like I paid a lot for a meal I had to choke down.

What a delightful experience. I came on a Saturday around 9P. Sushi Fugu is nestled in a busy “shopping town” over in Highland, but business was slow when I got there, leaving me with any seat I wanted. I chose to sit at the sushi bar directly and watch the skilled chefs prepare my rolls. I specifically ordered salmon heavy items like the Philly, Salmon Skin, and Salmon Roe. They were all beautiful works of art and tasted fresh and delicious.

Based on the lighting and ambiance, this would be a good place to take your date if he or she is into Depeche Mode or Muse. My experience was only heightened further by the attentive service I received from James and Eric. I completely skipped the hot kitchen, but based only on the sushi I would definitely go back. The sizing was so generous I had leftovers.

I should mention: I came here with a Groupon in hand, but I thought that even without it their prices were very reasonable. At $6.50 for the Philly Roll I got great cuts of salmon. That’s what you would pay for bad grocery sushi.

One of my favorite sushi places for sure. Anytime my best friend and I have a chance to catch up we decide to go here and always have to order at least one roll of Mount Fuji. Mmmmmmm sooo goood!!
They have a decent selection as far as variety of rolls wether you like them raw or cooked. I’ve also had the fried rice here which is also very good.

Nice quiet date-friendly spot. For me and my wife, it’s our go-to Japanese place when in Flower Mound. Tasty and not too terribly expensive especially for lunch. Loved the green mussels and the Katsu Bento Box. Couple growth points would be: Katsu is usually eaten over streamed white rice, but the bento here doesn’t include that (you have to order it separately for $1.95). Also the Sushi Bento has only 4 nigiri (non-rolled) versus 8 California rolls, that balance should really be the reverse even if it costs a couple more bucks.

Great place for sushi. Food off menu was ok… kinda bland. But sushi is really good. Atmosphere was nice with sticky tables…. try it, you will like it… Texas roll wonderful! Spicy tuna is my all time favorite. Seemed fresh.

Should have read into some reviews before looking up ramen on grubhub.

1 Spicy Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen $13.50 plus tax.

I went in to pick up my order and the guy after telling him my name, and me staring at 1/2 different togo orders knowing thats mine, took over 3 minutes to figure out what was mine. No mask either.

This has got to be the most disappointing ramen I have had, there were no veggies at all, their pork was was some lean cut and chewy. No spoons for an extremely hot container. I give them props since it was hot and actually spicy but very one-sided flavor. What surprised me was, how do you get an egg with a dark yolk but also overcook the outside.

I could not see any ramen pics when I was browsing yelp, so hope someone sees them and understands what you are going into.

I’ve had a few bad visits to this place, but honestly the last time we went they really amped up the quality and presentation! Best salmon I’ve had in a long time

Loose rolls. They added $3 per roll for a crunchy topping (normally provided at no cost at other sushi restaurants). Waiter was inattentive and couldn’t even provide straws when asked twice. We will not be returning.
