Sushi Friend is officially one of my favorite sushi spots! Everything was so fresh and beautifully presented. The rolls were packed with flavor, the fish melted in your mouth, and you can truly taste the quality in every bite.
The service was amazing — friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcomed. The atmosphere is clean, cozy, and perfect for a casual dinner or a cute little date night.

The level of hospitality is incredible!
What truly set this place apart was the care and concern they showed for our safety. While we were dining, a suspicious person began pacing around the area. The staff immediately took notice, kept a close eye on the situation, and discreetly called the police to ensure everything remained safe. One of them even stayed nearby, visibly ready to step in if needed. He also offered to personally walk a take out order to a customer’s car so that they could remain safe. You don’t expect that kind of protective attention when you’re just grabbing dinner. t really showed how much they care about their guests.
And then there’s the sushi! OMG absolutely incredible. Every piece was fresh, beautifully prepared, and delicious. You can tell they take serious pride in the quality of their food.
This place is more than just a great sushi restaurant, it’s a business run by people who genuinely care. We felt safe, welcome, and well-fed. Can’t recommend them enough!

Sushi Friend is by far the best sushi in the valley. Me and my boyfriend often drive from across town to get their sushi and it is so worth it. Their Aguachile roll is so delicious and fresh. All of the rolls are portioned well and the flavors are so yummy!! Definitely worth it every time.

Staff also asked if I had any questions while ordering, super friendly! Ordered the seaweed salad, sashimi combo, Toromigo Roll, and Ube Cheesecake. Everything was amazing! Sashimi was fresh and roll had great flavors. Ube cheesecake was really good and look forward to coming back to try Ube crème brûlée. Highly recommend!

Amazing sushi- very unique – super fresh. Some of the best toro I have had. I loved the textures and flavors of their specialty rolls
I tried the scallop dyno roll- sushislope roll and the yuzu salmon roll. The toro nigiri was soo good.
I love the real wasabi as well.

This little gem of a place is legit. We went for the first time over the weekend. We were not really sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. Do yourself a favor and look at the menu online before you get there, once you enter place your order at a kiosk. If you’re not familiar with all the bowls, rolls, sashimi, and Nigiri, it can be kind of confusing. Once you place your order go to the dining room and wait for your name to be called or they may bring it out to you. There are utensils, napkins, chopsticks, a water dispenser for your water. They also have a selection of Japanese beer sake, green tea, and a cooler which after you pay for it, you just help yourself. Everything is self Service but the sushi and sashimi is so fresh and delicious. The young man who I presumed is the owner is very helpful and pleasant to deal with. They have an app you can order from for pick up orders. Highly recommend the Toromigo roll it was sooo good!
There is parking in the back of the building as the parking in the front is limited.

Great sushi, fresh, flavorful and creative and traditional rolls. With an open kitchen style you order and select a table and they call out your name or take your food right to you if its not too busy. Sodas, sake, beers, water are in the fridge to grab on your way to select your table.

Cool placed and atmosphere. More like a to-go establishment. Heard a lot of good things about this restaurant and it’s relatively close by. However, the food was mediocre at best. It looks really good but the flavor’s just not there, especially for the price… $80 for two people. The staff was really cool and friendly, so I would definitely recommend going there and giving it a shot. By Arizona standards, this sushi is the best in town. Just not the same as S. Florida.
