I’ve been coming here for a couple of years, and the owners have always been incredibly friendly. Prices were also very competitive—especially the party trays, which is why I’m still leaving this as a 5-star review.
That said, my most recent visit was a bit concerning. There have been a lot of changes lately, particularly to the menu and pricing. The menu has been streamlined and modernized, but prices have gone up significantly across the board. Party trays in particular jumped by about $15 on average, with some increasing closer to $20. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be any noticeable increase in portion size to go along with the higher prices.
This is a bit disappointing, because competitive pricing was what really set them apart from other sushi spots. The quality has always been slightly above average, but the value was a big part of the appeal.
I’ll still be coming back, but with these price increases, other places’ party trays have definitely become more tempting.

Sushi Express recently underwent a change of ownership and at first I was bummed! I’d been frequenting Sushi Express for at least 15 years and grew to really enjoy the owners. However, the new owner is brining fresh changes to the Food Court stall. They’re offering onigiri and a new assortment of sushi roll options. Tonight I bought a crabmeat onigiri, and it was possibly the best onigiri I’ve ever had. $4! So, while I miss the previous owners, I’m excited to see how Sushi Express changes for the better!

This place is a hidden Gem. The sushi is super fresh and and the rice around the sushi is also delicious. I love the red ginger and the homemade wasabi. The staff is also super friendly and attentive. You can come here to enjoy beautiful sushi by yourself or with your family. The cuts of the fish are also very precise and pleasing to the eye. My personal favorite is any of the Tuna rolls.

Guy who served me was polite, and even saved me a couple bucks by telling me they can put the spicy sauce on top of the sushi instead of buying the cups. They started this new loyalty card thing too which is cool.

What a fantastic surprise to find out that there is a sushi restaurant inside the Assi Supermarket. This was our first time trying out their food. I had a nice size crowd for the Super Bowl and was looking for a place to get a tray. Low and behold I came across the gem of gems hidden away in north wales. The sushi was fresh and plentiful!! This will be our go to from now on.
