Sushi Enya in Sawtelle was excellent all around. The service staff and chef were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The wasabi was standout, the omakase nigiri set was fresh and beautifully prepared, and the mountain potato fries were amazing. Everything we tried was great—can’t wait to come back.

Chef is awesome; very kind and taught us a lot about the sushi we were ordering. The Japanese Sea Bass nigiri (sushi?) was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten and I’m not even exaggerating. Servers were great as well! Super sweet and knowledgeable about the menu.

Loved Enya Sushi Spot, We came in super last minute after a very long day, and they still welcomed us and made sure we had a great meal.
The food was amazing and exactly what tired people need. Bonus points for the ceramic cups and dishes. I don’t know why, but eating sushi from pretty ceramic plates and bowls just hits different.
Our server Gare was a whole vibe. Super fun, friendly, joking with us, and somehow full of energy when we were running on empty. He made us laugh, took great care of us, and honestly turned our “we’re dead tired” night into a great one.

Made reservations for a date night based on reviews. The fish was fresh and delicious! The rolls were generous size. The super chirashi came with so much uni and ikura on a bed of brown rice. Delicious and a Southern California twist. We will definitely be back.

As soon as you come in, you’re giving a big welcome, everybody that works there is so attentive and really nice. Japanese kosher just does service much better, and you feel that here in the restaurant. The ambience and design of the restaurant is stunning Japanese design.
The sushi here is elevated, each roll has a combination of many subtle flavors. My favorite is the lemon roll & Unagi.
