My husband and I came across Sushi Empire at The Station. We were hooked after the first try and ate at the food truck several more times. We ordered a sushi platter for a Christmas Party that my husband and I were having at our home. I dealt directly with Jesse who was very responsive from beginning to end in assisting us by giving us several options for pickup that would be convenient for us. We ordered the classic roll platter and were allowed to make a substitution. The sushi was delicious and a HUGE hit at our party! We would use them again for an event!

Words cannot express how amazing the sushi rolls are. I grew up in Orlando and I’ve eaten at over 40 different sushi places including very expensive ones and I will have to say this place rivals them. Definitely the best place I’ve been to in North Carolina. We had the Volcano and Kingdom rolls, they have the perfect flavor explosion. 15 stars out of 10. Also the fish is as fresh as the top Disney places like Morimoto Asia.

Fantastic sushi at a really reasonable price with friendly service. I’ll be honest, I was hesitant at the idea of a sushi truck, but they really delivered. The sushi was fresh and delicious! The presentation was beautiful. I highly recommend the Buried Treasure roll, it was bursting with flavor and just a bit of spice, not at all overwhelming. I’ll be following their facebook page so I can be on the lookout for them to be near me again soon!

To my ones of followers on local guides who have been wondering where I have been, I was waiting on something like Empire to excite my palate. True care for their craft from the hand roll to the slivered peppers. Excellent. In the future I will travel for this truck and you should too. Obviously got a little ahead of myself by crushing half the rolls before taking a photo. Only wished I had gotten 3 more. Praise be, Sushi in Greensboro.

Now, hard to give 5 stars when the wait is consistently 1+ hour on top of a 15 min break on orders. Makes it hard to plan going somewhere when you’re expecting to have dinner. Unfortunately until the service/process changes will have to avoid.
