Everything was very, average, just okay. There is nothing gluten free here, weird second sushi place in Vancouver that has said that. I’m assuming things are not made fresh. It is weird cause they have GF soya sauce. We had to go to the counter to ask for more tea.

This was the WORST experience I have EVER had at any restaurant, and I honestly cannot believe how horribly this branch treated me.
I went there during my 30-minute lunch break and ordered takeout. My food took forever, and by the time it was ready my break was almost over. I politely asked if I could just eat there quickly instead — and they KICKED me out. The two cashiers/servers were mocking me, giving me judgmental looks, and acting like I didn’t even deserve basic respect. The place was EMPTY at the time, yet they still refused to let me sit down for even 10 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous.
Few days later, I went back with a friend because I honestly couldn’t believe how terrible they were and wanted to see if maybe they’d treat us better this time. But NOPE! SAME treatment, no consideration, no customer service. We were forced to eat outside again. And the worst part? We found HAIR in our sushi. REALLY DISGUSTING.
At that point we didn’t even bother complaining because it was clear this place doesn’t care one bit about customers. The staff here need SERIOUS training on how to treat paying customers with even the smallest amount of respect.
I will NEVER forget how badly I was treated here. The service is trash, the food is unsanitary, and this branch is a COMPLETE NIGHTMARE. NEVER coming back. NEVER recommending.

Food is decent for the price. The portions are large and it’s sometimes hard to fit Maki pieces into your mouth in one go. Would recommend for fastest / most decent sushi in the Rogers Arena area.

i usually order takeout haven’t eaten in before and like the decent prices and portion. however today there was a piece of hair embedded into the rice of one of the rolls and it was really disgusting. never had this issue before and hope it never happens again.

Great place to grab something to eat before heading to the stadium for a sporting event!
Had dinner here with some friends before the Canada vs. Honduras Men’s soccer match at BC place. Seating was good, we were able to get a table for 4 relatively quick around 6 pm.
I ordered the beef yakiudon and it was pretty decent. Just wish the portion was a little larger. But overall the yakiudon was good. It also costs about $14.
Service was great too. We had a nice Korean lady that was friendly, but seeing some of the reviews here I think it’s a hit or miss depending on who you get as a server.
Overall, this place isn’t too bad. Location is great, and food was good with friendly servers.

This was the spicy tuna roll I ordered. Unhaply with it as it is mostly rice, fish tasted off, and would break when I try to pick it up because it’s made so poorly. I didn’t even finish it and threw it away

The food is only as good as its cheap price. Their donkatsu was seriously overcooked and felt too chewy.
Their fried prawn as not bad though.

I am celiac and first went to the counter to see if they could accommodate me. They answered my usual questions correctly (yes to gf soy sauce, yes to fresh gloves and surfaces) so I was mistakenly confident. I decided to sit and eat but the woman at the cash and the waitress weren’t clear on whether or not my order was submitted. I reiterated my celiac to the server and she also reassured me it would be safe. When the food arrived, there was a big serving of wasabi that was touching the rolls. I admit I made a mistake that I forgot to explicitly ask about the wasabi. Other sushi restaurants have communicated up front that it has gluten and asked if I wanted it excluded. When I asked if their wasabi was gluten free she said, “probably because it’s from a vegetable.” She went and checked with the kitchen and came back to inform me, “it just has a bit of gluten, you’ll be ok.” No I won’t be ok. At first, I considered staying and taking the chance since I was tired and starving, but I realized if they were so careless about the wasabi, how could I feel confident about the rest of it. I got up and just left. Super disappointing. Next time, just say you can’t accommodate allergies.

This is a great place if you want to eat sushi and related food. They have really good prices, it can vary but you can eat with $10 -$20 budget. Also many options in their menu. Weekends is crowded but the service tend to be fast. Sometimes you wait around 5 minutes, depending who is working there. Overall 4 starts because of the time waiting and the tables are close each other, but in general good good experience to share and to go in the city!
