We were very rushed by the server. There was a cold draft as well. We got our sushi and most were cut so thin that we had to use a fork. I’ve heard great things about this place but we were disappointed.

I was really disappointed with the customer service at Cove Sushi.
From the moment we arrived, the server seemed visibly annoyed that we were there. Her attitude was so unwelcoming that we actually double-checked the hours, thinking maybe we had come close to closing time—but the restaurant was still open for another two hours.
My friend and I were dining with our two one-year-olds, who were happily waving and saying hi. The server completely ignored them. When we asked for two high chairs, she abruptly shoved them toward us. When I didn’t immediately use mine (I usually wait until food arrives so my baby doesn’t get fussy), she took it away without asking. When I requested it back, she huffed and puffed despite there being plenty of other high chairs available and no other babies in the restaurant.
We had to ask for basic things like soy sauce. She was also rude to another employee in front of us, which was uncomfortable to witness. There was unnecessary back-and-forth over keeping a menu at the table, and after that, she never checked in to see how our food was or whether we needed anything else.
When food was dropped off, she said nothing and placed hot dishes directly in front of the babies without any warning. The entire experience felt cold, dismissive, and careless.
Ironically, the only time she smiled and made conversation was when it was time to pay the bill.
The food itself may have been fine, but the service completely ruined the experience. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning based on how we were treated.

I rave about Sushi Cove to others! I’ve recommended it so many times. I used to live in KW and I’ve tried so many sushi places and Sushi Cove is my all-time favourite… in Woodstock! Who would’ve thought!
Their sushi is always extremely fresh and they never cheap out on quality or quantity – the rolls are always big and the ingredients are always fresh. They are very consistent. They’ve also never got my order wrong and we order around $100 of food biweekly – so, large orders that are always correct. The workers are friendly and unless very busy, our order is ready within 20 minutes for takeout. Prices are comparable to other sushi spots, but worth every penny.

Best Sushi I’ve ever had. Very surprised to find a place like this out in Woodstock and not in the middle of downtown Toronto. Me and my wife are regulars now, and the staff is very warm and inviting to us. They bring us our drink order as we sit down. Authentic Japanese food with some inspired fusion on the menu, and of course lots of amazing Sushi with very fresh and delicious ingredients. I have to wonder how they manage this magic so far from the sea.

I came for dinner. I was met with quick and friendly service. The restaurant is clean and has a peaceful atmosphere. There are plenty of dishes available on the menu. We started with miso soup and a salad. Both were fresh and very tasty. We ordered spicy crab, tuna, and salmon rolls. We also ordered some vegetable rolls and edamame. Everything was fresh and prepared well. Lastly, we ordered the green tea cheesecake. I love green tea and cheesecake so it was a wonderful combination. I recommend trying Sushi Cove.

Best sushi I have had in a long time. Even better than my old favorite sushi place. All the rolls were uniquely delicious, great portions, and the Spicy mayo was on point. Didn’t even feel super bloated after like you do with a lot of other places. Can’t wait to try some more rolls.

I had tako wasabi, grilled salmon neck, deluxe sushi, 4 different kinds of sushi with my hubby.
All were really enough portion for 2 of us, and they were all fresh 🙂 I had nice dinner when I went to woodstock. I wish I lived in woodstock because of sushi. I am a sushi lover that i eat sushi once in a week all the time. I really want to take my friends there for sure. Staff was very nice and friendly even he looked very rush and busy by himself working. I paid about $80 including tips. I rather spend this much here than going to AYCE 🙂
