We came by for dinner to celebrate my mother in law’s birthday and she loves Japanese food. The interior of the restaurant is amazing and has a great vibe as well. The menu is amazing, lots of options and you have to check out the names of the rolls they have (the names are very intriguing).
The food is absolutely amazing, the appetizers we had was the Cantonese Soup, Miso Soup and Crab Calamari (very tasty). The sushi rolls they make are so good: Gone with the Wind, Tropical Thunder, Crunch Scallop and Salmon Ninja.
Highly recommend coming here to celebrate special occasions or just want to have amazing sushi made by their chefs. Definitely coming back here again to try more sushi rolls on their menu.

Very fresh sashimi and sushi. I can confidently say this is the best sushi spot in the DMV.
They also have great kid-friendly options. The tonkatsu, fried rice are excellent.
The drink selection feels more diverse than the Fairfax location.
And don’t miss the Mafia Roll in the photos! It’s completely different from typical rolls and absolutely next level.

Sushi Cho has been one of my go too sushi spots and with a second location opening up in Sterling, I had to check this one out!
The Food: Went with two of my favorite rolls. The Salmon Lover and the Lady Killer. Both stood up to the same high quality and was delicious. The quality of the fish was fresh and left me full with how generous their rolls are.
The Service: Service was great here! The staff were very friendly and attentive. Food came out in a timely manner and the staff always came around to check up on me and refill water.
The Atmosphere: This location is much better than Fairfax in terms of space/parking. This location has plenty of parking, due to it being in a big shopping complex. The dining space inside is spacious and has more tables as well.
Overall, a 5/5. Quality and service is the same as their Fairfax location. Always top tier on all fronts. Would highly recommend and I’ll definitely be coming back. Especially with this location being closer.

So happy they opened a location closer to me with ample parking!! Highly recommend! Had lunch there today – soba, sashimi deluxe, saba (japanese), and tuna tartare. Sashimi was excellent. Generous pieces. Best in NOVA. Soba was perfectly cooked. Delish. (Took pictures after we started eating). Beautiful space.

Tried Sushi Cho’s new location in Sterling and I honestly think it might be better than the Fairfax one! Same menu but everything tasted super fresh. The space is bigger which makes it feel more comfortable and the ambiance is perfect for a date night. Everyone was so attentive and made the whole experience even better! Definitely coming back!

This has been our favorite sushi restaurant for years, and now that they’ve opened a new location close to home, we couldn’t be happier!
The quality is exceptional — super fresh fish, perfect flavors, and beautiful presentation every time. You can really taste the care they put into each dish.
On top of that, the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better.
We’ll definitely be coming here often. If you love sushi, you have to try this place!

I highly recommend checking out the new Sushi Cho in Sterling. We went for lunch and the Chirashi lunch was fantastic. The fish was the freshest that I’ve had in the area and the price was very reasonable. They have many lunch special options available.
Out of the different cuts of fish in my meal, I enjoyed the tuna the most, which was a pleasant surprise. Most other sushi restaurants that I’ve been to in the DMV area serve tuna that either is a bit too chewy or lack the flavor that I’m looking for, but the tuna at Sushi Cho was delicious.
The owner was friendly and stopped by multiple times to check up on our meal. It’s clear that he takes great pride in the quality of the ingredients and tries his best to make sure that all of his customers have a great dining experience. I will definitely be back!

We had dinner here a few nights ago and it was a lovely experience. Service was friendly and made sure we were taken care of. The menu has a lot of options to choose from, specifically they have a lot of different sushi rolls, sashimi and nigiri options, different soups, and more. Definitely a perfect spot for a romantic dinner date.

Sushi Cho never misses. We’ve been going to the Fairfax location since they opened and it’s always a great experience. We checked out the soft opening of the new Sterling location last night and they seriously knocked it out of the park. The space is huge, the tables are more spread out, and it still has that same chill, relaxed vibe we love.
Even better, our favorite server Kai is now at this location! He’s always so attentive and made the night extra special with a complimentary yellowtail roll and mochi dessert. Everything was amazing as usual. Easily a 10/10 and a must-visit if you’re in the area!

I had a great experience at Sushi Cho. The fish was super fresh, the rice was perfectly seasoned, and everything tasted clean and well balanced. The staff were friendly, the service was quick!
