I have been a client for the last 20 years. My son grew up eating here. And for his 18th birthday, we decided to celebrate it here. We already had incredibly high expectations, both with the service and with the food. They somehow exceeded our expectations. From the beautiful and amazing quality food to the family-like service, sushi chef is one of, in not THE best place to have sushi in Miami. 15/10 would eat there every day!!!

I was surprised actually yes the food was great and the service was incredible, the owner was in the restaurant looking at everything maybe that’s the reason why !! Definitely one of our top 5 Japanese restaurants in Miami. Came here to celebrate a birthday and as always, we had a great time! Food was spectacular and delicious. Wines and beers were all also very tasty with the food! Service is also very good.

After going there for over 20 years chef Enomoto does not cease to surprise me with consistently great food. After all this time it’s not about one fish or another. He changes the menu offering new delicious options yet keeps the original recipe for the winners. Service is always prompt and responsive. Makes a difference that he is always there to oversee his always full restaurant. Love this place.

It pains me to leave a bad review, but I have to. Our usual sushi spot is closed on sundays, but we had the cravings and ended up here. I gotta say, the people who love this place must not have had good sushi in their life and that’s not their fault. The staff here is nice, but the food is really subpar. We ordered a miso soup which was good, then shrimp shumai (mediocre, poor presentation), crispy rice (hard, chewy and tasteless), and a 18 pc combo (tiny pieces, not worth the price). I think we would’ve had better luck ordering sushi at Publix for half the price.

Ordered the boat for four. It didn’t come with any soups and it was only one sashimi piece per person which is much less than other places. The food was pretty good overall, but the quantity wasn’t enough for what it cost.

They have Uni & Ikura handroll, which is not easy to find in another sushi restaurant. Great presentation and very fresh fish. They have an extensive sushi menu and very variety. Their small miso soup is less than $3!
