Super friendly waitress and reasonable prices. Stopped by for dinner in the quieter part of town, and the restaurant was not too busy. The ramen and sushi were good. Be careful not to pull into the car wash, since Sushi by The Bay’s lot is on the other side of their building.

Sushi was fresh and delicious! We got the cherry blossom roll with spicy mayo added and the crazy roll. After spending the day in monterey, we found this hidden gem. Although we really wanted to eat there the atmosphere was nice and it smelled so good inside but we were pressed for time and had to get it to go. My pictures in the car at night don’t do it justice.

Highly recommend this spot! A hidden gem. The food, service, and atmosphere were all outstanding. Lots of indoor dining with a nice patio area for outdoor dining. We sat at the bar and the sushi chef was very kind and friendly. All the staff were welcoming. The food was brought out quickly. Very fresh ingredients and delicious food! Absolutely loved the heart attack and bento plates with beef. The Sapporo was served in a chilled mug which really hit the spot. Overall I’m happy to have come by this restaurant and definitely plan on returning.

Left stuffed! Sushi was great, sat at the sushi bar and George gave us great recommendations. Our server was super attentive as well. We had two different sakis that were great and their green tea ice cream was a great finisher!

The fish left a lot to be desired. The rolls were good, but the sashimi and nigiri were not fresh. Even the water tasted dirty. The rice was hot and delicious, and the beer was great. Don’t go here if you are looking for good, clean fish.

Everything was very good here. It was not busy at all, and does not need a reservation (they don’t take them). I had the Ramon and it was so big I could not finish it. We also order sushi it was amazing. Highly recommend if you are in the area.
