Sushi by SYC is an absolute must if you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience. The 16-course Omakase was luxurious, creative, and perfectly paced — every dish built on the last in the best way possible.
The attention to detail is incredible, from the ingredients (yes, they fly in seafood daily and even brown sugar from Japan!) to the warm towels and thoughtful presentation. It’s elegant but still approachable and fun.
The drinks are also top-notch — the Old Fashioned and Manhattan were both excellent, and their house sake was some of the best I’ve ever had.
Perfect for a special night out, an anniversary, or just because. Easily one of my favorite meals in Denver.

Amazing experience at Sushi by SYC. The food was outstanding—fresh, creative, and perfectly executed. Every bite was packed with flavor, especially the nigiri. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere made the whole experience feel elevated and comfortable. Easily one of the best sushi spots around. Highly recommend and definitely coming back.

I’ve been to quite a few Omakase experiences in NY, this was my first in Denver and it was absolutely delicious. Fresh fish and creative flavors from top to bottom. Hard to pick a favorite piece. Attentive staff making sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. Very excited that Sushi by SYC is now in the neighborhood out here and I’ll be sure to go back. Highly recommend for Denver Sushi lovers looking for a unique experience in a great atmosphere!

We have been looking to try an omakase experience that tasted and felt as if we were back in Japan. Sushi by SYC is by far the closest. The atmosphere is intimate with counter seating for about 20 guests. Up close and personal with the chefs as they prepared each dish. The menu was thoughtfully curated and executed by the chefs, Joseph and Adrian. Each of the 16 dishes were skillfully prepared and better than the last as the menu progressed. By the end it was difficult to pick my favorite but we enjoyed the toro, foie gras, hotate, and uni. The chefs were attentive to food allergies and restrictions. I’m a breastfeeding mom and was worried about not knowing which types of fish were served that day. The chefs checked in with each dish before they served me. The cocktails and sake were delicious and paired well thanks to recommendations from our servers, Hannah and George. Their signature SYC sake was worth its 2-year journey from Japan. Overall had a wonderful experience and left wanting to return again.
