I became addicted to their sushi and rice bowls, every time I am at Grand Central Terminal, so I decided to leave reviews helping them keep doing their good job

I love sushi and raw fishes. They made really good sushi, everything is so fresh but it’s kinda pricey.

Quality fresh sushi with a lot of options and particularly good since it’s premade and sitting in a cold case all day. At the end of the day they do discount the sushi, so if you are catching a train in the evening this is one of the better deals. When the sushi is full price it’s a bit pricey for what it is but I guess we are dealing with NYC and GC rent

Disappointed with the taste of the crunchy spicy tuna however the spicy tuna with avocado was amazing. I can definitely say that they are very unorganized. The cashier called me to tell me that the delivery company left half of our order in the store then Ask me could I contact the delivery company to let them know. That was very bizarre. How on earth would I contact the delivery company that I have no phone number to? Because the spicy tuna with avocado a delicious I will probably return however I’ll just pick up my order and go.

Their sashimi and the spicy tuna and salmon are always so yummy. It’s an institution now. I must get my weekly sushi fix from here. It’s the only stall in the grand central market next to Eli’s that I go to. Yes once in a while they may give you less ginger than I want but I’m not complaining. I’ve tried all of their rolls and bowls now. I like the messi bowl and tri fish sashimi with tuna, yellowtail and salmon. The inari boat with spicy tuna and a piece of avocado always hit the spot when I am having hunger pangs and I can sneak a bite on the go. Amidst all the sushi restaurants and take outs in the area, this place is hands down the most consistent and best place to get your sushi without sky high prices. Go for it and go often, you won’t regret it.
Psss if you are lucky enough to be there when they have sales in the late evening sometimes- grab as much as you can. It’s worth it.

I’ve been having their chirashi rice bowls, spicy tuna and salmon salad rolls, sashimis and I have to say the place has made me change my mind about sushi. I usually think sushi is bland but I am drawn to this place everytime I pass though. It’s definitely the healthiest shop in the GC market.
You can see a lot of effort is being made to make the rolls and it shows in the taste. My favorite is the spicy tuna boat- it’s not super spicy but adds a slight kick and flavor. The salmon salad has umami. They make surprise rolls on occasion and I always look for it to try something different. One of them that they make on occasion is the yellowtail lion roll with spicy tuna and avocado on top. It’s fatty, rich, satisfying and outright addictive.
Location wise you can’t beat it for quick food pick up on your way to work or home and straight to the train. One thing that not many people know is that you can get things made to order before 4pm. If you have a particular roll you want and they have the supply, they’ll custom make it for you.
I like that the place doesn’t pretend to be the next best fad. It’s a good solid sushi shop and gives you want you are looking for. I recommend.
I wish the dining area downstairs open soon so I can satisfy my sushi hunger right away.
