Absolute hidden gem. You would never expect sushi this good from the outside, but once you try it, you’ll be hooked. Don’t sleep on the Dragon God Sake. Best I’ve ever had.

The fish was extremely fresh, rolls were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was on point without being overdone. You can tell the chefs actually care about quality and consistency, not just pumping out rolls.

Service was super fun, friendly, attentive, and relaxed — no rushing, no attitude. Prices are very fair for the quality you’re getting, especially compared to bigger “trendy” sushi spots.

This place is now on my go-to list for sushi. If you know, you know — and if you don’t, you should. I’ve taken so may business associates and friends here. The Chefs are AMAZING.

Highly recommend.

If you want some fresh sushi , Sushi by hidden offers good fresh sushi. That’s all it offers. Expect no Japanese-style service no Japanese culture. It’s worth mentioning that its sushi rice has too much flavor that it diminishes fresh raw fish’s authentic taste.

Omakase is a dining experience that allows customers to experience Japanese Zen and humble culture+manner and then the food/sushi. Unfortunately the place fails to do so. I studied and worked in Japan, so I have some knowledge about what omasake is. This joint is a very Americanized Japanese food place. If you expect an upscale Japanese restaurant’s staff bowing to customers and greeting them with “Hajimemashite (はじめまして)”, and peaceful Zen egoless ambience for a true omakase experience, definitely avoid this place. If you want sushi quality better than chain restaurants’, give it a try with a fat wallet.

Easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel welcomed and genuinely valued — attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly personable without ever being overbearing.

Every course is thoughtfully crafted and beautifully presented. You can truly taste the precision and care that goes into each dish. I’ve been here twice now, and both visits exceeded expectations.

If you’re a sushi lover, this place is a must. I’ll absolutely be bringing my wife next time. The Wagyu à la carte is phenomenal — rich, perfectly prepared, and worth every bite. Pair it with the Dragon God Sake and you’ve got a flawless experience.

You will not be disappointed.

This spot deserves five stars due to the excellent service, great food, and a welcoming and unique atmosphere.

I came at the first dinner time slot for the omakase (sushi tasting menu). I was the only one there, so I got a personalized experience from beginning to end.

The quality of the ingredients are incredible. The fish is so fresh and has amazing flavor. Plus the paired additions made it delicious.

The oysters are also incredible. As someone who doesn’t normally like oysters, this was one of the best dishes of the night with the Asian spices/citrus flavors.

The tuna, salmon, yellowtail, and scallops were all so delicious. The tuna was ultra fatty (otoro), the salmon and yellowtail were bright flavors, and the Hokkaido scallops were incredibly sweet.

The temaki roll at the end is the perfect close to the meal.

Service was excellent and the chef had great conversations, explained each dish in detail, and was exceptionally skilled in his presentations.

This restaurant has such a unique atmosphere. The bar seating is behind a hidden portrait door, and the other seating is in a small hallway designed to look like a Japanese alley.

This 12-course tasting menu is competitively priced at $75 and was worth it.

They also do an izakaya dinner (skewers) for $90.

Omakase dinners last 45 minutes, and izakaya dinners last 60 minutes. Reservations should be made on Resy as there is limited seating. Please note there are cancellation visa associated if you cancel less than 24 hours in advance.

Relative entry level omakase. Ingredients are relatively fresh. However the pace is a bit too fast and felt being rush to complete the round. There is lack of patience and explanation on the expected tasting notes of each piece of sushi made from different fish. No ginger was served to clean palate between pieces and had to ask for some after the course started. The serving black stone plate also wasn’t wiped after each serving. Overall, I would say this is an entry level omakase experience.

This is a unique Omakase experience that delivers exactly what you want for the price. The lunch deal is unbeatable: $60 for 13 courses (sushi only). The catch—which is actually part of the appeal—is that you have a strict 30-minute window to finish the set courses plus any add-ons.

The quality is consistent; while every piece might not be a perfect 10/10, everything was a solid 8/10 or higher. We added A5 Wagyu, Uni, and a few other pieces, bringing the final bill to about $120 per person (with tips, without drinks). The service was efficient and good, keeping up with the fast pace. If you are looking for a high-value, efficient, and delicious sushi fix, this is 5 stars.”

Sushi by hidden was certainly a very different experience. Limited guest seating per reservation period (there is one row of about 10 ish seats), and food served and finished within 30 min. The menu is set ahead and limited regarding dietary accommodations

Maybe I’m partially to blame for not reading thoroughly about expectations or from my preconceived notions, but I felt slightly unsatisfied by the end of the experience. Not because the food wasn’t great, I thought the sushi was very well crafted and the fish selection was delectable. But it was just served too quickly in succession to really appreciate or enjoy what I was eating. I think what I enjoy about omakase is savoring really good sushi.
However, if you’re on the go and want good sushi this is the place for you. Affordable as well
Shout out to Jonathan and our sake server for being awesome and friendly, the experience was definitely much better (the other sushi chefs and head chef were not interacting or welcoming unfortunately)
Definitely a place worth trying

I don’t usually eat sushi often because I’m a little picky and honestly a bit nervous about it. But this spot was amazing — the whole experience was awesome! I even tried various sashimi, which I normally never order, and I went all in… and survived, man! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Definitely a great place for both sushi lovers and people like me who are a little hesitant but want to try.

It was a really intimate experience. There were only six of us dining at the time, so we got to chat with the chefs. They were friendly and laid-back. I expected the experience to feel rushed but 45 minutes felt like a good pace. Each piece of sushi had an interesting twist. My only complaint was that the door was broken when we went, so it didn’t have the hidden speakeasy vibe we expected.

Absolutely fun and fantastic. interesting we were confused at the different venues. “Sushi by Hidden” and “Hidden.” we were at the casual “Sudhi by hidden.” I love the idea being fast. I love Omskase but waiting for the next piece makes me hungry. “Hidden” is faster, and more reasonable. We never felt rushed, and the food by Jonathan was seasoned wonderfully! Portions large, rice warm, service polite and kind and attentive. Fantastic food. 12 causes, add ons if you desire, sone side and beer but byob if you want sine and only 20.00 to corks. Fantastic place!!!!!
