Don’t like the new location. Vibes are not intimate or speakeasy feel. It’s at a bar by the pool with other guests sitting at tables near by. During the summer it’s going to be hot and very humid. The music is elevator music, not the fun vibes from the previous location. Disappointed. This was me and my husbands go to omakase and now we’ll have to find a new spot. Hopefully they get a new spot.

This one honestly makes me sad to write.

When Sushi by Bou was inside Salt 7 it was a whole experience. The fish tasted fresher. You’d sing with the chefs. You’d interact with the other guests. It felt fun and personal and worth it.

This pop-up was completely different. It felt rushed and honestly kind of lackluster. We didn’t even receive a menu to see what sushi we would be trying. At the other location they would present a board with everything listed, so you knew what you were getting and it felt more curated. That detail alone makes a difference.

It’s also way more expensive now and it just doesn’t feel worth the price anymore. The drinks were great and the service was excellent, so I will absolutely give them that. But overall it just did not hit the same.

I’m giving it three stars and hoping this location improves because it feels like the hotel setting limits the overall experience. I’ve gone three times and after this visit, I won’t be returning.

Really fun place. Incredible food. But overpriced. Chefs are fun. The sushi is unique but you are going to pay a lot and still be hungry. If you want the experience and sample original style sushi then do it.

Definitely not over priced… it’s Omakase… it’s not McDonald’s. Their service is phenomenal, fun friendly atomosphere. Sushi is my absolute favorite. 12/10. I’m so happy they opened another location in Fort Lauderdale

Chef Mo is incredible and made our experience very special! Chef Jordan is excellent too. Highly recommend coming here for a fun date night or special event. The toro bone marrow caviar nigiri was insane. Can’t wait to come back!

Great food, great service and atmosphere. The sushi chefs are fun, kid friendly, and you’ll sample exquisite sushi such as wagyu with uni, toro with caviar, that you don’t usually find elsewhere. Note you’ll need to do valet parking as it is located inside pier sixty six.
