My wife and I LOVE dinning at this location. Chelsea, Jane, and Janice always make our dining experience so memorable! They’re super friendly, attentive, and just have a way of making us feel genuinely welcomed every single time. They’re honestly the main reason we keep coming back to this location, they’re simply the best. On our last visit we also met Jules, the operations manager, and she was just as amazing, super kind, professional, and you can tell she truly cares about the team and the guests. Such a great group of people. And to top it off, the food is always consistently delicious!!!

Went for the $65 for 2 (12 course meal) and it ended up being over $100 in total. The food was really solid and the experience was nice, but it is fairly expensive for what you get. I personally felt like I left still hungry and the individual purchases weren’t worth it. I get that its supposed to be upscale, higher-end dining. The food was exceptional and tasted incredible. I just felt like the portion sizes were not to my liking for what I paid. Good experience though.

Went to Sushi by Bou once and immediately understood the hype. The experience was fun, intimate, and the omakase was so good I ended up going back three more times after that. Every visit felt just as solid. Fresh fish, thoughtful pacing, great vibes, and genuinely warm hospitality. One of those places that turns into a repeat spot real quick!

We recently did an event here for work and I have to say the team at this location is phenomenal. Chelsea from start to finish was SO welcoming and extremely attentive to our groups needs. She was fantastic. The sushi was spectacular and a lot of our attendees really loved how unique the experience was. If you’re looking to host a smaller event, this is your place.

We showed up as they were closing without reservations. They couldn’t seat us for dinner, but we got to sit at the bar and chat with the staff. These are remarkably wonderful people who love what they do and bend over backwards to please anyone who walks through the door. We can’t wait to go back for more than just saki.

This is a great omakase experience, easily one of the most affordable ones in Chicago! The 12-course ($65) and 17-course ($100) options last about an hour; each piece of sushi is made to order and handed to you to eat. Scallop, fatty tuna, bbq eel, and salmon are the highest caliber nigiri money can buy. Sake flights ($44) are a better choice than the cocktails, venue has a Great Gatsby-vibe to it at the back of the Claridge House. Classy place, recommended for serious sushi lovers only!

We love this place! Visited for the second time last night and had a wonderful experience again! We always stay at the Claridge House which is how we first discovered it, but if you like sushi it’s worth making the trip here. Actually, my husband isn’t even a big sushi fan but he agreed to try it with me, and he couldn’t believe how much he loved it. I can’t believe he agreed to go a second time, and is already looking forward to our next trip back! I eat sushi all the time and this is an extra special treat. For someone like him who doesnt eat it regularly, it’s a unique and special dining experience. It’s a great way to try new things and see what you like, and you can add on more pieces at the end if you really liked something. Drinks and service are also incredible, the staff is all so kind and attentive and it’s an upscale but fun and welcoming environment.

This the second Sushi by Boy location we have been to and so far my favorite. Great atmosphere and food and I loved the special add-on at the end. Straightforward sushi that I personally enjoyed every bite. The 12-course meal was a perfect way to end of Saturday night. The complimentary sake at the beginning was good, but I always love a nice junmai daiginjo. We got drinks at the hotel bar prior and that lady was AMAZING at making drinks. I would definitely recommend her old fashioned.
