This place is insane; the nigiri/sushi is good and HUGE. Like, these nigiri pieces are the size of 2 to 3 normal ones, and it does NOT come at the cost of quality!! Sushi rolls are at least 1.5x in size as well.
Note, as all the other reviews have said, it is take out only.

I have seen this place all over TikTok and finally got a chance to try it. I ordered the 7pc salmon sushi and the 7pc seared salmon sushi. Both were super fresh, and the sauce that is used made them even better. It lived up to the hype and was worth the price.

The only downside was the pickup process. There’s no ordering ahead, so you have to place your order when you arrive, and there’s a chance they might be sold out of what you want. I was told it’d be a 30 min wait and that I’d get a text when it was ready, but the text never came. When I walked in well past the wait time, my order was already sitting there. Still, if you’re in the area, I’d recommend stopping by.

Heard about this place since it blew up on TikTok. Decided to try it and see what the hype is all about. For starters, this place is pickup only, no dine in. I waited 15 minutes to pick up my sushi. We got seared salmon nigiri and seared tuna roll. The seared salmon is good, at least on the top. But the pieces are waaay too thick. The texture is not very good compared to other seared salmon I’ve had, a little on the rubbery side. The seared tuna roll was alright on the crab front, but the seared tuna didn’t taste very good. Had a weird taste kind of like smoked beef. Also, the rice on both rolls are of a low quality and not really sushi rice. It’s dry, not moist or sticky enough like real sushi rice and they didn’t add enough sushi vinegar. Overall disappointing considering the hype; the only good thing about it is portions are huge for the price.

The first time I stopped by here 1 hour prior to their closing time, there was a line of about 10 people. The person before us got to order but then it got to us and she said they were sold out. Just our luck.

2 months later..

This is not a dine in, only order to go. Their menu is simple and small. This place has been busy since it’s been on social media so prepare to wait. When we first got there, we had to wait because they were cooking more rice, we just waited in our car. Once the sign came off we waited in line, maybe 5ish people in front of us. We ordered the social media famous seared salmon nigiri and regular salmon nigiri. Each order came with 7. When i say those pieces are huge, they are huge! I could not finish 1 order on my own. I would love to go back but it would only be if I’m really craving it. The lady said it would be a 30-40 mins wait but we waited an hour! Tbh, that is too long for me to wait for some sushi.

First time visit. Take Out ONLY Restaurant.
Walk up, just inside the front door is where you order.
I had already looked at the menu online as so I kind of had an idea of what I wanted.
All three combo plates sold out for the evening, she says? A, B, and C.
So I hurriedly resort to plan B as now there is another customer waiting behind me.
I was unaware that the three afformentiond comb plates being unavailable that also made a number of other items unavailable as they were components of the combo plates.
So I order the Tuna bowl, Salmon bowl and Eel Bowl each coming on a bed of rice.
Owner lady takes my cell number and tells she’ll text me when my order is ready. 10 minutes later, she calls me and says order is ready, come pick up!
The take out sack was moderately heavy.
I get home and unpack. Each bowl was filled full. The fish was fresh? Slices were thick. 8 pieces each. The pieces covered the rice. Each bowl passed the smell test. The rice bed was warm. I mixed up my soy sauce and green taking the first dip, it was flavorful.
The pieces or portions were a bit thicker than the typical slushy type of expectations.

Eat here for the portions and price… not because of the flavor. We ordered 4 items for two people, and its probably enough for 6 people to get full off of.

Would only recommend the bowls, as the rolls are too large to enjoy as a complete roll. I got the Sake Roll (inside salmon and cream cheese), and its so thick… I’ll either take a full bite of cream cheese, or a full bite of salmon, but cant enjoy it as both.

The seared salmon was good, but sake roll wasn’t really enjoyable due to its large size.

No dining in. I’ve waited for an hour for take out. The fish here is disgusting, not sushi grade. They have better rolls at buffets than here. I gave the food to a homeless guy. Come here if you’re into quantity and not quality.

Went out of curiosity from social media, plus I love salmon and the texture when raw. So when I went to get some salmon sushi I actually got the sashimi bowl which had thicker pieces which was exactly what I was looking for 😀 I felt like a cat who got a big fish haha they were such generous pieces so definitely worth the price! If you’re looking for nice fatty pieces of salmon I highly reccomend. Be prepared for a bit of a wait since they got sometimes need a time out to cook more rice but overall very friendly and the staff was helpful when I wanted to ask questions about which I should get, thank you!

The Nigiri was good, we arrived about 10mins after it opened and it was so busy that we waited in line for about 15-20mins to order, then almost an hour for the food. After walking back to pick up our order they had a sign for temporary closure to keep up with orders so maybe they also have online orders that come in at the same time.

There is no inside or seating there, so we went across the way for some bubble tea and played games which worked out but the wait would be difficult for most people I imagine.

It was worth trying, the spicy seared salmon was my favorite, the salmon itself was good quality and comically large over the amount of rice so that was impressive. They have a larger variety than what I had. The dinner special looked like the best value instead of the lunch options. From what I tried it was good but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it a second time

Absolutely Disappointed! We just landed from Hawaii to Seattle. Excited to try this place is an understatement. We immediately drove up to Sushi Blue an hour before they’re opening and we waited in the car and as people started to form, we jumped in line. There were very few people in front of us, but a lot of people behind us. We were the next in line and the lady put up a wooden fence in front of us that said temporarily closed. We asked her what was going on and she said that she already told us that they were going to be temporarily closing. This was literally 20-30 minutes after they opened. She never told us that they would be closing, and she started walking to the back of the line and calling people liars saying that she told people, but didn’t know who she talked to. I expressed to her that it wasn’t fair (and I mean life isn’t fair but this was wrong). We had been waiting in line for an hour and a half already. She told us that if we wanted to eat, it would be another hour and a half. I asked her what was going on and she said that they ran out of food. How do you run out of food when you have only been open for 20-30 minutes and there were only maybe five groups of people that you served. There was an amazing person in the line who offered to order for us because he was the one right before we got cut off. She told him they are only allowed to order one thing each. Can you imagine a place that charges $23 for nigiri even though they are large, up from $19 ever since they got popular and not having a plan? Instead of hiring staff, or prepping for a line every morning they shut you down, disrespect you, insult you and then say if you wanna eat there, it’s another hour and a half? You guys aren’t thinking about prepping fish at 9 AM before you open? You don’t have a bigger rice pot to make volume for your customers? You’re not pre-packaging these which is still very fresh so that people can get orders and go? You’re not thinking of any of these things? I don’t care how good the sushi is. The way that this business treated us and the other people in line was absolutely unprofessional, and because of that we won’t be coming back, we won’t be supporting this business and it pains me to leave a review like this because I am a business owner, and I know how important reviews are. I normally never do this, but somebody has to say something. Go look at the other one Starr reviews where people drove 2.5 hours from Vancouver Canada only to have the exact same experience. If you want to be misled, disrespected, charged top shelf, but treated like you’re just another customer, this is the place for you
