FYI: Call ahead and make a reservation; we went without one, but they did still seat us. The food here is fresh and delicious. The wait staff was moving and busy. We had the shrimp fried rice, seaweed salad and two rolls (dragon & Y.M.C.A). The prices are reasonable and did I say how fresh everything tasted? Overall a place I will return to.

I LOVE getting their lunch special, 2 or 3 rolls with soup & salad for just over $10! Great deal, great food & great service! (Just be careful when you eat outside on the patio in the summer. Last year they had a bee problem! Had to move our stuff inside)

Just left! Never had a more positive experience at a sushi joint than I did today! The hostess was so pleasant and helpful. She told me about the lunch special (ridiculously reasonable in price) and recommended her favorite rolls. I ordered the food to-go and was in the place maybe 10 minutes. The sushi chef was so fast and the food was delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant!

The sushi was very good! The rainbow and volcano rolls were good. We had a fried roll and I can’t recall what it was but it was delicious. The menu on their website doesn’t seem to have their fried rolls listed.
The atmosphere leaves a bit to be desired. It’s crowded and loud (the photos on their website don’t show the extra tables they have inserted down the center isle). Some of the chairs at the smaller tables that they cram in are very uncomfortable. I did ask for a more comfortable chair and the server was more than happy to accommodate me. We just didn’t like how loud and close to our neighbors we were. When you try to leave or come in it’s crowded just walking around the restaurant too. Was a bit of a longer wait than we usually expect with sushi also.

Living out in Jefferson County makes it difficult for us to get our sushi fix very often. We were thrilled to find Sushi Bistro. The sushi is delicious with a wide variety; the staff are friendly and helpful; their bar selection is superb; the decor is tastefully done. And it’s a great central location for wherever you live. We have a favorite sushi restaurant now, and it’s Sushi Bistro!

Sushi Bistro is just a few blocks from my house, so I keep finding myself craving sushi. The sushi is very good and I haven’t ordered a roll I didn’t like. We’ve ordered a large variety of menu items and have never been disappointed. The value is on the regular menu items, chef specials are a bit pricy. We always receive great service and the restaurant is never too busy.

We had a great experience here, fabulous waiter and food. There were four of us so we snagged a few chef’s special rolls (special was 10% off all of those) plus the love sushi and love sashimi selections, all to share. We had a great time.

Went there, and the food was great. I asked for mango to be added to my spicy tuna roll that costs $5.95. The waiter said it would be an extra charge of a couple dollars. I said that was fine. Bill came and a $5.95 roll became a $12 roll. Um. Yea. Ridiculous. Never going back.

The sushi was quite good. Miso soup was tasty with fresh seaweed. Excellent service by friendly waitress. They have a semi private room for larger parties that they put us in without even asking which was nice. Overall a great and conveniently located sushi place. Drink menu was a little lacking as they didn’t have stella artois beer or mojitos. But I’m nitpicking there.
