Hands down, one of the best sushi experiences I’ve ever had. Everything that was served was top-tier. You can tell the owner cares deeply about the quality. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. All of their recommendations were delicious! This is my new go-to sushi spot and I’m already counting down the days until I come back!

I very much enjoy the food and friendly atmosphere at Sushi Bei. Their sashimi and sushi are fresh, and I think the food presentation is amazing. Yellowtail Cheek is large, fatty, and delicious. Their appetizers and rolls are pretty good too!
I like Non Bei next door where I can continue with some drinks and karaoke. They offer a full night of fun!

To be clear this review is strictly about the food, the server was great and the atmosphere was ok. Anytime I visit a new sushi place I leave my dining experience in the sushi chefs hands. I order Omakase. From my understanding asking for Omakase is an honor and is taken very seriously. The food and presentation was horrible. The cuts of fish had a dry look as if they were exposed to the atmosphere for quite some time. It wasn’t fishy smelling so I know it wasn’t bad it just didn’t look good. We would have been better off getting sushi from the local supermarket. I would definitely never visit this place again regardless.

I had an great dining experience at this sushi restaurant. The servers were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home even during a busy period. The food was absolutely delightful, prepared to perfection and bursting with flavors. The servers’ expertise shone through s as they guided us through the menu, ensuring we made the best choices. Their dedication to providing excellent service, despite the bustling atmosphere, left a lasting impression on me. I’ll definitely be returning. I can keep going with my fiancé needs me. I will be back.

This restaurant has been here since the 80s and my family and I used to come here about 10 years ago. I have since moved out of state and I just had to visit on my last trip to California this week. I am so glad I did. The quality is the same! Amazingly fresh fish. Do not come here if you are looking for the “Americanized” Sushi. This is traditional raw fish on rice, known as Nigiri. Don’t skimp and order the Aki Special (who is the owner and head sushi chef). The Aki Special is his take on the “dynamite” and way better! Baby shrimp, scallops, crab, and mushrooms baked in Japanese mayo! You’re missing out every time you go to another restaurant and not here.
Pictured: Salmon Nigiri, Baked Mussels, Aki Special, and the complementary ice cream at the end to help cleanse your palate. Not Pictured: the Nigiri I ate before taking a picture LOL.

I came here on Valentine’s Day. The food wasn’t good and the service was slow even though it wasn’t busy that day. I was quite disappointed with my date that day.

Been coming here since the 90’s, Aki “owner chef” is the real deal. He buys the best quality fish and his service is second to none. It’s a hidden gem worth keeping and sharing. Taking a date or the family night out it’s the spot for any occasion.

The portions for the rolls are so small compared to other sushi restaurants. I personally like my sushi simple. My baked salmon roll came with edible wood shavings. I also didn’t like the atmosphere nor attitude of the restaurant. I was literally stared at as soon as I came in for a good 3 minutes. How about instead of staring, you welcome your guest. The sushi is okay, but I wouldn’t want to come back.

Small but authentic and delicious. We especially love the tapas tofu and crispy rice. I can’t figure out why there aren’t more people enjoying this gem
