Reviews
A small, quality local establishment with a patio open in the summer. It is a local gem that is well worth the visit. Don’t miss the sake tasting flight, any version of the gomae, or anything from the daily fresh sheet.
Any of the dinner bento boxes is plenty to share between two people along with an appetizer.
Service is always super friendly and top notch.
Negative reviews on here either seem to compare it to Vancouver (yeah, it’s not YVR qpr, duh), or are whining about slow service during the pandemic when staffing was an acute challenge on the coast. This place is a regular haunt for locals for good reason.
They had clam chowder croquette which was SO GOOD!! My friend and I also shared salmon sashimi (super soft and buttery), the sunshine roll, tobiko nigiri, spinach gomae, and the tuna tataki salad. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious.
My friend also ordered the sake flight. For $18 you get to try three different types.
