It was an unfortunate experience. Very poor service. Our waitress simply forgot about us. It took about 45 minutes to get the appetizers because she forgot to put our order in. We never received our main order. Our table was never cleaned up. We basically set there for an hour and no one cared to check on us or take away the dirty dishes. When we finally gave up and decided to leave, we received a check for the food we never received. Cherry on top- our “wonderful” waitress was surprised to find out that she never brought our food. To be fair, the waitress was very friendly and was very good at saying “I’m sorry”. Obviously I can’t comment on the food quality, except garlic edamame was fine 🙂

We’ve been coming back to Sushi Bar Blue Fin religiously in the last couple of years, because it is honestly the best sushi in town. We’d go here on a lowkey weeknight, a lively weekend, and even celebrated birthdays with a large group! In fact, we were just here tonight! 🙂 There are many reasons why we keep on returning but if I could summarize it in one word, it is authenticity. They have an authentic Japanese dining experience with an impressive dedication to quality. Every piece of sushi is crafted with precision by their highly skilled chefs who clearly and humbly take pride in their work, using only the freshest ingredients to create beautifully balanced flavors. The warm and friendly service makes you feel like family, adding to the welcoming, local atmosphere that sets this spot apart. Whether you’re a sushi connoisseur, or you just came back from Japan nostalgic and craving the same vibe and cuisine, or you’re simply just looking for an exceptional meal, this place delivers an unforgettable experience that keeps us coming back for more. We absolutely love Blue Fin Sushi!

THE BEST. No need to consider any other establishment. I don’t eat sushi anywhere else. After having lived in Japan for years, my sushi expectations are beyond high and Blue Fin satiates my fiercest of cravings. Chef Daisuke is a happy, sweet, skilled sushi master. Cheers him a beer when you’re there.
They get quite busy so not a bad idea to make a reservation.

In a more traditional and quaint setting, this chef serves sushi that is nicely arranged and fresh tasting. Service was polite but slow, even though less than a quarter of the tables were occupied. If you’re looking for a more traditional sushi experience then you’ll find it here. The Japanese scallops, the ankimo, and the aji were memorable. Recommended.

Amazing place, tiny and comfortable with a delicious variety of rolls, hand rolls, sushi, sashimi and nigiri…highly recommend and can’t wait to get back.

Rolls somewhat dry and bland, just felt like eating rice with other flavors an after thought. Also little annoying things like barely filling my ponzu ramekin, dried out old ginger, and the eel roll being rice outside eel inside with not enough eel sauce. The woman serving us was loud and not polite. Also they charge a $2.95 credit card surcharge and I didn’t see that policy listed anywhere.
I do not feel the meal we received was a decent value for $90, and will not come back here.

Chirashi $50!!! OMG most places charge $23 to $25! It wasn’t on the menu and they didn’t tell me how much it cost. Mostly rice with some fish. Definitely not worth it! Never going back!

Sushi chef puts on a show if you sit at the bar. Great sushi, scallops are fresh from Japan. Reservations recommended. Our new favorite sushi spot.

Long wait times. No room to wait for table or take out (ordered ahead and still had to wait 30+ mins once we got there). Teriyaki chicken is a joke and not worth $11+ , it’s not even served with rice (see photo). Garlic edamame was good but salty. Sushi was good. Probably won’t visit again. Many other places in the area with better customer service and more reasonable prices.

This is hands-down, the best sushi I’ve had outside of Japan. I’ve only been here twice in the past two years, but loved every moment of it. The folks there take good care of the fish they prepare as well as their guests.
