Haven’t been to Sushi Avenue in years, so I decided to take myself to lunch and sushi is what I was craving. This place did not disappoint . The sevice was fast, the food was delicious, the sever was so pleasant and polite and the prices are reasonable. My only negative is that the spring rolls were rather small but still tasty, so I won’t dock a star for that reason.

This place is a cute gem. Small on the inside but packs a major punch with the food and service. Every thing we ordered was delicious.
The ginger dressing on the house salad tasted really fresh and I actually loved that it didn’t saturate my salad like other places serve them. It was the right ratio. Their mixed tempera was perfectly crispy without being too oily – definitely a rarity! The sushi was quite small but made sense with the price. Still very good though it definitely could’ve used more wasabi serving. Their pork ramen was the hidden gem. The broth was on thicker side which reminded me of my time in Japan. Definitely authentic and tasty. The salmon was fresh and delish. Highly recommend!!!

My best friend and I make it our business to eat here at least once a year. There has not been another restaurant that could make sushi as well as Sushi Ave does in our area, so the 1.5 hour drive is well worth it! Their takoyaki, udon and unagi don are to DIE for! ♡

What an amazing meal! Freshest salmon I have ever tasted, and amazing service at the sushi bar. My wife got the North roll and I got sashimi on sushi rice. Our waiter was extremely polite and quick and I highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner. Amazing quality and authentic decor right in the heart of downtown Decatur.

This is my favorite Sushi place and I love sushi. We can debate on this all you want but I will take this over all the places I visited. The traditional Japanese scenery of the place and all the people who work there make it fantastic. They are courteous and care about providing you a fantastic experience to remember. It is so open when you could literally see how everything is being done. Who wouldn’t want that. In addition, the place is in pristine condition.

Absolutely amazing sushi!! Your choice or room temp or warm Sake (that was my first time). I don’t know how often you eat sushi but most restaurants give you this Kroger sized roll NOT here! I had a small burrito cut into 8 giant delicious pieces. Don’t worry you can ask for more wasabi they don’t charge. Prices are affordable and service is top notch, highly recommend. Try the spicy calamari. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

We love coming here for sushi. They do have other Japanese dishes on their menu, but we always end getting the sushi. Consistently fast and friendly service, delicious freshly made sushi and ice cold bottles of Kirin and Sapporo beer keep us coming back! And the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend you give them a try!!
