Awesome All ‘Round Experience: The sushi rolls, appetizers, drinks, and entrees are the best Japanese fare I’ve eaten anywhere: always scrumptious, generous in portion, and prepared with flair and creativity. The genuinely attentive, helpful and uplifting staff have remembered us from the beginning (even when we miss our monthly engagement). Everything about this restaurant is done with care from the exotic meal predation to the relaxed attmosphere that feels like family. Although the bill gets a bit pricey with varieties of saki, mixed drinks, and beer added, the meal and the service is well worth it.

One of our favorite places to eat in Mooresville! Sad we can only visit on trips back to NC after our move to TN. Perhaps it’s time to grow the business and open a location in Knoxville! Just a thought. The service level is always top notch! Dana treats us like family, spends time with us during our visits, and makes us feel truly appreciated. Moon is the best, great to see him and chit-chat during dinner. A great place to eat, fresh sushi, plenty of options, and excellent hibachi meals.

I am very surprised at the ratings of this place. I hate giving bad reviews, but the sushi here was some of the worst I have ever had. We live in the Midwest in a small town and have sushi in grocery stores that tastes better that this. Went to Sushi By the Lake Too in Mooresville tonight for the first time.
Great service, clean location, yummy food. Loved, loved, loved the spicy edamame appetizer and the two rolls I ordered were substantial, fresh and delicious. Big Bang and Sparkplug rolls.
Our server Taylor was exceptional! Answered questions, made recommendations, on top of the drinks and dishes, friendly and professional. Will definitely go back.
