Kept seeing this place show up on my food app so decided to stop in and try. So glad we did as the food was delicious, innovative and fresh. Location is clean too. Our now to go spot for sushi. I think I saw some Korean/ramen options on the menu too. The spicy garlic edamame were soo flavourful. Portion size is very fair too.

I’ve dined there about 9 times so far. Their overall food is amazing—my favourite sushi place in Langley. The sushi is the best (my favourites are the Snow White Roll and Mango Tango Roll). The waitresses are friendly and kind every single time, without a single miss. The ambience is great, with beautiful sakura tree decorations.

You have to order the hoe-deopbap.
The restaurant serves it with one bowl of rice, but I highly recommend adding one extra bowl of rice and mixing in only half of the red gochujang-based sauce they provide. That balance is perfect.
I think I’ve eaten this dish at least ten times in Langley alone—it’s truly that good.
When you order the hoe-deopbap, it also comes with 9 pieces of sashimi. I suggest setting those aside first and enjoying them separately with the soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger the restaurant provides. After that, mix the rice with the sauce and enjoy it—this order makes the whole experience even better.
I give it a hundred thumbs up
Just a heads-up: the portion is very generous—easily enough for 2–3 people.
And lastly, the Korean female staff member at Sushi Ami is honestly one of the kindest people I’ve ever met.
She is always incredibly warm and thoughtful—truly grateful every time I visit.

This Japanese restaurant offers more than just sushi, but that’s what we tried and it was amazing. The service was incredible, the sushi was delicious, and everything was very clean. Even with a full house, we got our order in less than 15 minutes. Probably the best sushi in Langley, we will definitely be back.

Overall great experience with friendly and efficient service and tasty food. The bento boxes offer a really excellent value for the price and the presentation also whets the appetite. The only little gripe I have is that the music could be either switched to Oriental/Japanese themed or just turned down period, as it’s a bit loud. But the food is what this is about and as first-time visitors from anger part of BC, we will definitely return here on our next visit. The tea was also topped up when asked, without charge.

Food is so good, fresh sushi and great service! Did a take out tonight and the food was so neatly packaged that the presentation was still on point! The staff there are all so friendly and so accommodating, makes me happy every time I visit.

Sushi Ami is an absolute must visit in Langley. We ordered a party tray for two, and it could easily have fed three people! The sashimi portions were unbelievably generous, and the quality of the fish was top notch. It incredibly fresh and melt in your mouth delicious. The rolls were also a highlight. The classics like the dynamite roll were perfectly crispy, and their more creative rolls like the Red Dragon were a fantastic mix of flavors and textures. It’s a small and cozy spot, so a wait is pretty much guaranteed no matter what day it is, but it’s absolutely worth every minute. Like others have said in their reviews, the service is incredibly friendly, and you simply can’t beat the quality for the price. This is easily the best sushi in Langley.

Came here on a weekend around 5 PM and they were busy however, we were looked after right away. We ordered the party tray, their mix tempura and their house salad and everything tasted amazing. They have the cutest set up as well. Great value for the amount of food that we have ordered. Will definitely come back again. All the staff members were so polite. We even got a complimentary deep fried sushi from their chef.

Stopped by on a Friday, 530. A busy spot with both dine in and take out business that is well organized. App drivers have there own pick up area so not stuck watching a line of people come in and out constantly.
Food was great. Fresh and fast. Great value in the special rolls – Aloha roll did not disappoint. Gyoza and basic rolls are well executed too.
This is on my list now for when I’m in the area.
