Do you like rice? Do you like hot rice with your sushi? Do you like sushi that is sliced so thin it resembles single ply toilet paper at schools and hotels? This is the place for you then. 95% rice, 5% fish. I’m not exaggerating. Take a look at the pictures. This is the second time I’ve been here. Gave them the benefit of the doubt this might have been a one-time thing. It was not. This is standard operating procedure for them, apparently. Go to Sushi Ai at Zumbeil Drive because theirs is excellent. This is absolutely unacceptable. We were literally laughing at how bad this blatant cost-cutting was. The tuna roll piece you see unrolled in the photo… that piece was sticking out of the top of this particular piece. I unrolled it to find this. The rest was a very thin strip of tuna rolled with a ridiculous amount of rice. The waitress explained that you must eat the rice that is served or there will be a penalty fee. Understandable with nigiri, but not when there is ( literally) 95% rice with one piece of nigiri as well as the regular rolls. The waitress also explained the serving of fish is bigger if you do not order the all you can eat. I’m never going back. I don’t care if they “fix” this problem. I’m done with this location. I would suggest you do the same. The service was great, and quick. The food, however, absolutely not.

Very good sushi for what their business model is… Which is offering an all you can eat at a very reasonable price. Salmon was great, spicy tuna was great, everything was very good.

(Reply: Just because I ordered a lot of sushi doesn’t mean you should double the size of rice so that I couldn’t finish the sushi. Whether I order a little bit of sushi, or a lot of sushi… The Sushi rice shouldn’t be 3-4 thumbs big… But I appreciate the fact that if I mention it prior to eating, that alterations would of been made. And I respect that. Maybe after some time I’ll eat here again)

Delicious!!! Rainbow roll was amazing and staff is so friendly. There is always a wait but it goes by quickly and is definitely worth it.

We ordered over $70 for lunch, it was gross. We ended up throwing more than half of it away. Starting with the salad, a big hair in it. We ordered 3 different sushi rolls, tasted like all ingredients came out of a can. The calamari, was extremely chewy and you could tell it was not made fresh. Overall not happy, we will not order from here again.

This quaint sushi place is our “go to”. The sushi is fresh and flavorful with a good ratio of rice to stuffing (so you can fit a whole pice in your mouth). It does get busy around dinner time, so expect a short wait. The Volcano roll is one of our favorites, not too spicy. When dining in, the display or presentation of sushi is very interesting, beautiful, well-thought out. The staff is very friendly, attentive, and speaks very good ESL.

Not authentic Japanese food but maybe you will enjoy it if you go in knowing that. Tonkatsu was thin, miso soup was watered down, and gyoza was just okay. Salad was just lettuce and tomatoes tips. I would recommend skipping this location. That said I didn’t try the sushi but if you can’t do miso soup right, I don’t hold much hope for the sushi.

All you can eat sushi was so delicious. Our family had 17 rolls all in all. You just can’t beat the price for an all you can eat, you get a soup and/or salad, and an appetizer and as many rolls that you can eat for $20, you pay for any left overs…
