Stopped in for lunch on my way to the airport and wanted some quick sushi!! I’ve always been told to stay away from Sushi in the inner states, but Sushi AI wasn’t bad at all. The service was good and the atmosphere was quiet. There were only two other tables eating. The sushi came at fairly quick, and we were all satisfied with our food when we were done. We ordered a dynamite roll and a few other classics to get us through as well as miso soup. The shopping plaza gas plenty of shopping options as well.

I’ve been to the Sushi AI in Central West End many times, but I wanted to try a different location, so I came here. It’s a nice cozy restaurant, nothing too fancy. Food was prepared very quickly. Service was OK. My waitress seemed a bit awkward but that’s alright.
I typically went before during lunch, and the lunch menu is 14.99. This time I went during dinner, which was 23.99. They say there are different items on the dinner menu, and that’s why it’s more expensive, but I really couldn’t tell the difference. I think I’ll stick to going at lunch. The rolls were all excellent. I ate a total of 45 rolls, so I am very stuffed right now as I write this.
Overall, I’m satisfied after this meal.

Most of our food was pretty good but the cheese cake dessert could not have been what it was supposed to be. The plate was wet when I moved it. It tasted soggy and I did not eat it. However, the fried St louis Roll was very good. And the bento boxes gave you lots of variety and definitely filled you up.

One thing I liked the most about this restaurant is its staff. The one assigned to our table helped us a lot with the menu. Kindly explained to us some options. The sushi was fresh and neatly made. They were really fast in preparing our order. They are in a quiet corner of a plaza. Very cozy and clean.

Came here with the family for dinner and loved it! The portions and the food were great and surprisingly, there wasn’t that much of a wait for our food. Also, the servers and the chefs were awesome and welcoming!
My family usually go to a restaurant in South County (~30 minutes away) but I think we have this place locked down as our go-to sushi-joint.
Would definitely recommend for anyone who loves sushi!
Edit: Still my favorite place to take the family out to when we’re craving sushi! Remember to not only tip your server well but also the guys who make your sushi!

Absolutely * wonderful * service from Iris. I normally go to the downtown location – which I love – but this is my new favorite. The way they make the chefs spicy sauce for the mountain roll is better than all the others. So, so good

Decent price for buffet. I like spicy tuna roll, spicy salmon roll, shrimp tempura roll most. I highly recommend these if you guys don’t like cream cheese in the roll. American dream roll is also my favorite even it tastes similar shrimp tempura. Christmas roll is another type of tuna roll. Shrimp dumplings are good but so tiny I wish they are in big size. Overall, this place is good.
