We visited this establishment about 15 minutes after it opened for dinner on a Wednesday. We waited about 10 minutes after we were seated for a server. When we first got there, there was only one server worker. She was joined by another server later, but a full restaurant, indoors and out, still only had a max of two servers. Service was slow and inattentive. We waited almost an hour for our order, and we’re never offered refills on beverages. We had to ask for our check after waiting with empty plates at our table for well over 10 minutes.

Didn’t even get to eat because RUDE WAITRESS wasn’t interested in accommodating my sick 78 year old mother out of the sun because our group was one person too big for the four top we sat at out of the sun. She insisted we moved to a table in the Sun and when we told her that we could not she was unaccommodating. I went to speak with the manager and I told him that she was driving us out of the restaurant basically because she would not accommodate us out of the sun (there was plenty of space) and he just shrugged his shoulders as if he didn’t care at all so we left. I have no interest in giving my money to such an establishment.

While the food is ALLWAYS amazing, it will take 1.5 to 2.5 hours to get it.

First time customer, was my Birthday, Poor service, sushi was just ok. Food came out randomly over an hour an half timeframe. The group did not eat together. Had a couple missing items. When we informed them of this we got yelled at by both waitresses and sushi chef. Owner walked out, listened and said sorry and then disappeared. Would not recommend this place.

ACTUALLY NO STARS for this visit! OMG, What a mess. The Waitress got our order incorrect and when we pointed it out, she flipped out and even the sushi cook came out and confronted us. They made racial remarks in spanish not know that we understood and speak it as well. Poorly managed, short staffed, staff stressed out, makes for a people on edge. Part of our party were completely done eating before the other half got part of their sushi order and by the time they got the last part of their sushi order we were all done eating and ready to leave.

This is the first time I’ve left a negative review on Google. I hate to do it, but feel compelled to warn prospective diners about our experience. We arrived at about 5:15 p.m. and were sat within 15 minutes. After we placed our order, we didn’t receive any food or water for about an hour. The food then trickled out over the course of the next 1.5 hours, with the quality exponentially decreasing over that time. The ramen that we initially received, for example, was quite good. The final item that we received, the soft shell roll, was inedible. Overall, what we’d hoped would be a quick sushi dinner turned into a protracted and expensive three-hour affair. As the icing on the cake, we got a nasty bout of food poisoning.

Over an hour and our sushi (simple order, 3 rolls) has not arrived. No explanations or attention. Restaurant was only half full when we arrived. If you want to eat within an hour, go elsewhere.

A fantastic choice for an intimate dining experience. The location is just outside of Taos, NM. The staff were very friendly. The food was fantastic. Expect longer wait times here. Arrive early.

The food is so good I always forget to take pictures! Everything is good sushi , ramen , dumplings! Try anything you won’t be disappointed. For dinner it usually takes 15-30 min. To be seated and 30+ min. To recieve your food but it is well worth the wait.

Amazing Sushi and so very fresh. They use real crab meat in their California rolls, Dragon rolls, and other sushi rolls having crab meat. Their calamari appetizers are thick delicious and very tender lightly breaded – simply spectacular. Their sushi chef is Japanese and came here from California. He really knows his stuff. He takes a little time making them but his attention to detail and perfection makes the sushi well worth the wait. Plus we were there on a Friday night and the place was packed so he was very busy. If you love Sushi and can’t make it to Japan for genuine sushi, then then this is the next best place.
