I went to Sushi 7 last night with my husband and it is hands down my favorite restaurant in Reno. We just moved here and were sad to leave our favorite sushi restaurants in SF, but we were so pleasantly surprised by such a hidden gem. The fish is extremely fresh, the service was incredible, and every single item we ate was genuinely amazing. I will have to force myself to not come and eat here every night as I don’t think anything else in Reno will compare. Some standout dishes: Yakitan (think crab rangoon but better with their homemade sauce), Mussels, Tiger Roll, Snow Mountain Roll, Skyline Roll, and Fried Banana Ice Cream. We also had sashimi that was quite excellent. Please do yourself a favor and try out Sushi 7, I promise you will not regret it.

Sushi 7 is a one-stop shop for an all-you-can-eat lunch experience. We were treated warmly when we arrived, seated right away, and the staff explained how the menu works. This sit-down AYCE is fantastic. Every roll is ordered and made fresh, and it tastes fresh. My son’s favorite is the Inari (tofu with rice). I really enjoyed the rainbow roll and all-you-can-eat hand rolls. The rolls come in various sizes, and they also have avocado rolls. My wife loved the mussels, and our good friend enjoyed the vegetable rolls like cucumber and Inari. She even tried the California roll. We all had a great experience.

A hidden gem! Everything we’ve had has been super fresh. The temperature of the sushi rice is perfection! A critical criteria for our 5 star review. They offer some different combinations in their rolls, the likes we haven’t seen in other establishments. Try the Geisha! And the “Gourmet Sauce”, SO delicious!

Read the mixed reviews on Google and decided to check it out as my whole family likes sushi.
We must admit we felt let down. Service was fast. There was only one server and she was nice but had to run around to manage all the 6-7 tables that was full during lunch.
Mussells were cold and not in shell.
ALL the sushi were rice and more rice 🙁
We had the AYCE. Lunch $26 and dinner $32.
As we were new to that location we asked the server to assist us in choosing. She did. We tried at least 12 types of sushi there. Nothing stood out for us. We did not realize miso soup could be not appealing!
Overall, not our cup of tea. Felt really let down. Perhaps someone else will like it.

Smells delicious when you walk in and it’s very clean. Smiling staff, quick service. Delicious and creative sushi rolls, yummy nigiri, and lots of apps. Highly recommend and Good prices. We just found our fav sushi spot.

My friend and I went to Sushi 7 on a Thursday evening around 7:30pm. The restaurant was lively but not overly crowded. We were seated right away. The decor was modern and clean with an Asian flair.
The service was excellent – very fast, attentive and polite. Our server went above and beyond, even teaching my friend how to use training chopsticks. The pop music playing was mellow and unobtrusive.
Our drinks arrived in just two minutes. They brought us free hot sake, which tasted quite traditional.
We started with an order of steamed muscles. They were perfectly cooked – not chewy or slimy. An order of four was a good size.
The specialty rolls we tried were very tasty. The 7 Alarm Roll was served hot and had a nice spicy kick. The Man on Fire Roll was also pleasantly spicy but more mild. The Spicy Tuna Roll featured high quality tuna and the right temperature.
The Mickey Mouse Tuna and Donald Duck Salmon played on the Disney names with subtle sweet teriyaki and more robust salmon flavors respectively. Both were good.
The Sparks Roll had a subtle sweetness that we enjoyed. The Okie Dokie Roll contrasted flavors and textures nicely with a hint of lemon.
Overall, Sushi 7 offered a comfortable setting, quality fish, excellent cuts and temperatures, and attentive service. Considering the high quality food and drink, the prices were very reasonable. It ranks among the best sushi experiences I’ve had in Reno and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Out of this world Sushi!!! Top 3 best sushi restaurants I’ve ever been too for sure. All you can eat too…so ONE price and you can order your favorite style over and over. Fabulous customer service as well. Highly recommended!

Very tasty sushi, friendly & attentive service, and great value. We did the All You Can Eat option. Between the 2 of us, we had miso soup and 7 rolls including Snowy Mountain (x2, our favorite), Lulu (our second favorite), Crystal Shrimp, Wayne’s, Rainbow, and 7 Alarm roll. The green tea ice cream for dessert was delicious – was tempted to pay for an extra serving, but I was full after the ACYE. Definitely recommend this spot.
