Such a nice quaint place. First time here and I will 100% be back! The staff were so nice and quick! The food is delicious and not dry like some pastry places.

Oh this is a must stop destination if you are going to Gig Harbor. The food is amazing. Coffee tasty and excellently brewed. Very busy, and they can run out of things. You can order ahead too. Everything is fresh.

This is a very nice place to go for coffee, lunch or a sweet treat. The food is really good, and I love the pesto pasta salad, it is so good! The employees are all friendly and my favorite is a young man who has the light of the Lord shining through him and he brightens the entire place with his infectious smile. It’s small but quaint and always a treat to go there. I recommend it if you appreciate yummy food and great service. It’s a happy place.

The kouign amann is perfection. Everything else is very good don’t get me wrong, but I haven’t had a kouign amann like that anywhere else. The bottom layers are like candy, and as it goes up it merges into this beautiful fluffy goodness with a sweet center. The top is so crunchy and flaky. It’s been 3 days and I’m still thinking about it. Perfectly sweet and just a little salty. If you do anything in Gig Harbor, go to Susanne’s and get a kouign amann

I have been coming here for years. They have great pumpkin muffins. But I am not coming back. We came in for a late lunch and it was very clear the young lady behind the counter didn’t want to be there. She scowled at us as we approached the counter and snapped at us when we tried to order. There is enough negativity in the world, I don’t want to go to a business where I feel like I’m inconveniencing someone by ordering a sandwich. There are lots of places make lovely food in town.

She proved service and food with pastries that are absolutely on the next level. You can tell it is a local favorite as every seat in the house is bustling with people, relaxing and chatting and having a wonderful time.
My Panini did take a minute, but the melted brie dripping out the sides on knock your socks off french baked panini bread and the amazing pesto pasta side made it well worth the wait. My mocha was absolutely the tastiest cup I have had in a week. My apple kauign was so good I couldn’t even get a picture before I ate the whole thing!
Go here on a day when you have time to sit and relax and enjoy.You will not regret it.

best strawberry cake ever. sandwiches are good too. outside seating for sunny days. overall, definitely worth a stop!

I had a small but important last-minute event, so I went there and asked if they had a whole strawberry cake. They said no, but at the counter, I saw they had exactly 13 pieces of strawberry cake. So I told them I wanted to buy them all. Then it was so absurd when they told me I could only buy 6. I was like, “Are you kidding me? What if I had asked someone else to help me buy the rest? I couldn’t do that either.” Just the fact that I was desperate to find something at the last minute and couldn’t made me feel so sad. So if you’re there wanting to buy everything, forget it The service was also so rude; the girl, after serving the customer in front of me, left as if I were a ghost. I had to thank her for coming back when she returned.

The coffee and baked goods are amazing. They have a vegan cookie with chocolate and nuts that is incredible. The peanut butter and jelly sandwich is also killer. They should sell the peanut butter … The 4 stars is bc the salads are much too pricey for what you get. The addition of a grain or protein to the mixed salad and more avocado would go a long way
