I came to this bakery a day before my daughter’s birthday, and was expecting them to turn me away on making a custom cake on such short notice. Well the man who took my order did not turn me away, told me that timing was not an issue at all. I was so pleased when he listened to what I wanted her birthday cake to look like. On pickup, the cake was so beautiful and followed the birthday theme of snowflakes/winter. Not only was the cake beautiful, but it was so tasty. Everyone at the party was raving about how tasty it was. Not too sweet vanilla cake that was moist, and had a strawberry center filling. They definitely exceeded any expectations that I had, and will be coming back!

Let me start off by saying this bakery is delicious. We have been going for years. The donuts, the cakes, everything is delicious. Saturday I went in and my son wanted a cake pop. The lady and I were having a hard time communicating because of the language barrier so I called my husband on the phone since he speaks Spanish fluently. She ended up giving us the wrong flavor anyway. But my issue is that when I got the cake pop she said I had to pay there which is fine. I’ve never in all my years going there had to pay at the kitchen and the lady who got a cake from the case immediately before me did not have to pay there. The lady took my card into the kitchen and was gone for a few minutes. It felt very inappropriate. Then when I got to the front to pay for the rest of my items I asked the cashier if it was a new policy and he said No and that he has never had anyone else say that and had been ringing up items from the bakery all day. I asked him if I should be concerned about my card information and he gave off the impression that I should. Stating multiple times that they shouldn’t have taken my card into the back.

Overpriced! The whip was sour. Asked to put “feliz cumpleaños” when I ordered the cake. When I went to pick it up. I ask the lady if she can write down “feliz cumpleaños” and she did it with a nasty attitude and horrible writing. When I ask her to please just remove it and leave it plain. She start to talk to her coworker about me. Couldn’t bother covering the cake when it was raining so the purple cake turn blue and with rain drops on it. Now won’t answer my calls.

Ordered a cake for my sons birthday party and it was the best cake ever. Cake was so soft and had the right amount of liquid for a tres leches. If you’re looking for a bakery for a good tres leches this is the place. 10/10

We looked everywhere for a custom strawberry flavored cake with strawberry filling for my sister’s birthday. I called and they said they can do it. We put our order in for next day pick up. The staff were super nice and helpful. Next day we picked it up and it was above and beyond our expectations! It tasted absolutely delicious! We aren’t from Washington but if we were to ever come back to the area we will definitely stop by here again. Wish I can include a photo of the cake!

Thank you to Surtidoras Bakery for the perfect cake for my husband’s 60th birthday! I am so happy to find a bakery that doesn’t make everything overly sweetened, the flavor and sweetness of this cake was just perfect. Found this place on Google maps and so glad I did. Purchased a cake topper for my reception/ elopement party and I’ve never had a better cake in my life! The strawberry filling was so fresh and the cake was so moist and flavorful! Fernando’s customer service was amazing! Will definitely be coming back here!

The girl working was very sweet and professional the place is very clean and up kept but unfortunately the cake de Tres leches was very dry the frosting is very bitter and dry it’s not the worst but I wouldn’t buy from here again

When they put product out fresh this place is the best but too many times we go there and they have old, dry conchas, and other items, in the case for sale with racks and racks of fresh in the back. We’ve asked if we could get some fresh only to be told that the fresh ones aren’t going to be put out till the next day… so their idea of fresh is day old or longer at best.
Why not bake your items the same day you are going to put them in the case?
Why not reduce the price of your nasty dry product so they sell faster so you get your fresh items out for sale?
even better, why not take them across the street to the food bank? Feed some people in need and show that you appreciate your paying customers.
Your lazy and/or greedy ways have lost at least this one customer. You can do so much better.
