Since moving to Texas I haven’t had a good seafood boil….. until I came here! Absolutely delicious and flavorful. We got the sauce mix that blends all the flavors together (my only regret was not making it a little spicier) but more reason to go back and try some more! Also got the garlic edamame and I did have to add more salt in between but the flavor was on point with actual garlic chunks! Definitely going to be coming back soon! Also, kid friendly with a good kid menu! My little Spider-Man approved! Thanks for the great service, the waiter did amazing and was very patient/friendly with us.

Very clean, very efficient, quick to place the fried seafood order. The only problem is that it didn’t fit for me. Perhaps it will for you so I will give you that. I went on a date night. Perhaps it would have been better with a family or large crowd. There’s just a lot of fast food places that do fried seafood much better & tastier at better prices. The service was good. The place was nice & cool with the mural. But the noise was off the hook and I really didn’t think the food was anything other than thick fried coating. Maybe I wouldn’t have minded if I had more beer. If you like it and rave, I can understand. Just didn’t work for me. Good luck and try it. In fact, I may go back and try a boil instead.

Omg! THE best seafood boil I have ever had! Seriously. Service was fast and friendly. I ordered the San Marcos Boil; shrimp, crab legs and a lobster tail. I chose a mixture of all of their seasoning options and I chose the highest seasoning level; fire. Wowwww! It was a party in my mouth! I was a solo diner. I spent more than an hour enjoying and savoring this meal. I am so glad to have found this place in San Marcos!

I will give 3 stars because I had to wait 1hr 15min to be seated (a party of 9), when they had about 8 tables open in the patio. After we got seated we ordered drinks and appetizers, we had to wait 20mins to get our drinks water/ sodas and about 30mins for appetizers (only ordered 3, onion rings, wings and fried calamari). It seemed they didn’t know how to handle a big group. Because people of 5 guests or less were seated right away. The food was super delicious, full of flavor worth the wait. Our server was great but we had to go and look for her a couple of times. I will definitely go again and hopefully we don’t have to wait that long.

Our waitress was amazing and very helpful on helping us decide the best flavor combo for our boil. We were delightfully surprised that the shrimp came out already easy to peel. The surf and turf burger was packed with shredded crab, and the coleslaw was a great side. The place was in pretty clean condition and they even have a hand washing station to utilize after smothering your seafood delights in seasoned butter.

From the moment we walked in, I was immediately impressed…there was absolutely no crab or fishy odor, which is rare and refreshing for a seafood restaurant! Aaliyah our waiter greeted us warmly, and our server Kieran made us feel right at home. The service was attentive, and the food? Flawless. The crab was perfectly prepared it was tender, flavorful, juicy and slipped right out of the shell with ease. Well done, Surfing Crab. Excellence from start to finish!
