Very true to it’s Cajun crab boil theme. We both got the Combo #2 with crab legs. I got with the mild Cajun spice. Wife got the mild house spice that is a mix with lemon pepper. Very generous servings. Two people could share one serving but who would get the one large crab claw? We probably could have brought home a doggy bag for another full meal but we seldom eat leftovers. I see appetizers and desserts on the menu but I can’t imagine eating anything more. They also have some Asian food on the menu such as fried rice. There are plenty of Chinese restaurants in town but I guess it’s good to have something other than seafood on the menu. They serve with the tools necessary for eating crab legs. No cocktail fork. That would make getting all the meat out easier. Also no hand washing station in the dining room. Maybe that’s more common in Maryland or Louisiana but it’s helpful to be able to wash hands without going to the restroom. It’s a nice clean restroom. Water in the bathroom sink was cold only. None of my criticism is worth deducting a Star. A very good Cajun dining experience.

The food was fantastic. Everything was seasoned perfectly. The fried oysters were plump and the batter was really crunchy. The clams and mussels were cooked very well. They were very tender and delicate, not overcooked or chewy/rubbery. Everything was coated in their signature sauce which had a good ratio of salty, tangy, spicy, garlicky, and umami. It was a tad too much oil but not bad.
The portions were nice for the price I paid. I got it to-go so I can’t comment on the service or atmosphere, but it was bustling and everyone looked happy. I would definitely come here again when I’m in town for work.

Totally recommend they’re so friendly and the bus boys are fast at changing a dirty table clean. I’m assuming what were the managers or owners were always looking at every single table to make sure everything was amazing. They even were handing out hand creams for Mother’s Day, and my daughter dropped mine, which they were kind to replace for another. Definitely bringing my entire family next time. They drinks were so refreshing, just needing the nice breeze of the water.

this restaurant truly is for everyone. they offer a ton of appetizers, entrees, drinks, and more. even if your feeling uneasy about the prices, the portion sizes are awesome, so you definitely get all of your money’s worth! i recommend their combo deals, cheese & macaroni bites, fried baskets, and especially their boiled eggs. i personally wasn’t a fan of their surfing crab loaded fries, the calamari was a little too chewy, the cheesecake was really frozen, and sometimes the service isn’t really outstanding necessarily; but i really don’t have any complaints about this place other than those few gripes! i always make sure to come eat here a few times a year, it’s a must have. definitely make reservations though, it’s always packed (for good reason.)

So, the food and our waitress, Ana Montoya, the absolute best!! She made our first time attending this restaurant so comfortable and amazing. She was highly attentive and such friendly service, such a sweetheart!
Now, the host that greets you at the front.. a young lady with short hair and glasses.. does not greet you, doesn’t say have a great time when you’re seated, very ill mannered and plain not having a good day. She didn’t even give us any menus. If you’re not liking the job, please find something else that suits your personality, because hostess or customer service is not your field.
Ana made the night worth going, staying and enjoying. I’m very thankful for her hospitality and her sweet customer service. ❤️

We love coming here when in the area for a little treat. We first visited the Corpus Cristi location but once we figured out there was one closer to home, we were thrilled! Both locations stayed loyal to their quality taste and food. On some days and times, there may be a wait for a table, but that just goes to show how beloved this franchise is.
This location has on point and present servers, always giving you what you need without having to bother them so much. From the hosts, servers, and even the bussers, we’ve never had a bad experience so far.
The food is delicious. The lunch specials are so worth it. Relatively cheap for what you get for a boil and they offer fried fish and chicken strip baskets as well. For dinner it does get a little more pricey but the quality is worth the cost. The boils are always full, loaded with the proteins, the potatoes, corn and I always add on the boiled eggs cause I feel it ties to together, with a side of steamed rice.
All of the flavorings are delicious, I’ve only gone up to a medium spice level and it has a slight kick, but it was still flavorful without being overly spicy.
We love this place!

Beautifully decorated. We were very excited to eat here, but beware Friday nights. 45 minute wait ( not to bad) Our waiter was nice but he had our table of 6, 2 larger tables of 10+ and another smaller table. He was running but we got little attention. Took a while to order and get our food. We all went with fried dishes….fish, chicken tenders, shrimp, French fries, & onion rings. It all tasted the same, So disappointed. Looking at other tables, they mostly ordered the seafood baskets. Maybe that was our mistake. Also, the same tune / beat played the whole 2 hours we were there… very annoying!

The place is nice, it has a family atmosphere, the food is good, we ordered edamame, fried catfish and snow crab, everything was good, the only detail was that the water had an unpleasant taste.

I usually go to the McAllen one ,but decided to try this one out because I was in the area ,the daily special was horrible ,watered down ,no flavor at all ,we aorder the surfing special flavor and when it came ,seem they had only added butter and water ,no garlic or spices or anything, I ordered the basket of both fried shrimp and fried fish ,with the fries. Fries were perfect I give them that but the shrimp was bad ,I dont know what type of batter ther used to fry the shrimp with but it seemed like cardboard, could take off the whole fried batter off the shrimp ,the fish seemed old aswell .
Atmosphere no enjoyable, really dark and they were playing nightclub music lol
Also the manager ,which seemed like the manager had everyone huddled up in a both just talking ,while people were trying to get seated.
Fountain soda was bad also ,tasted like vinegar or topo chico
Place needs better management.

Food was great. Service was a little slow but I’ve noticed in the valley (Service is usually slow) my family and I enjoyed the fire flavor on the king and snow crab
