My daughter and I was visiting the area for an event. The young lady that waited on us is Joann. She was very proficient and professional. She gave excellent recommendation for menu entrée choices. We loved our food. The vibe was very pleasant and friendly. Thank you all for the warm welcome and delicious food.

Such a great meal for the time of year!! All of the seafood was cooked perfectly!! The flavor..amazing!! My husband had the Fisherman’s Platter and everything was cooked perfectly!!! Surf in Woburn was an absolute delight from start to finish. The atmosphere is lively but not overwhelming, with a coastal-chic vibe that’s both inviting and upscale. Our bartender was truly a gem, warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. He made the experience feel personal and elevated, and the lemon drop martini was perfection, the right balance of sweet and tart, ice-cold, and dangerously easy to sip.

We started with the scallop appetizer, and it was honestly to die for. Perfectly seared with a gorgeous caramelized crust and melt-in-your-mouth center, it set the tone for a stellar meal. The king crab was rich, buttery, and beyond satisfying, though we could have easily taken down two more pounds without hesitation. It was that good.

Rounding out the meal, the dragon sushi roll was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It had just the right amount of heat and sweetness, with textures that worked in perfect harmony. Every dish felt thoughtfully crafted and showcased top-quality ingredients.

Overall, Surf hit all the right notes, delicious food, spot-on cocktails, and service that made you feel like a regular, even on your first visit. Whether you’re craving fresh seafood or a night out with excellent drinks, Surf in Woburn is absolutely worth the visit.

Very clean and spacious place! We came for lunch with kids. Great vibe for a drink and a few light raw bar orders. The deluxe sampler is huge and more than enough for four adults (two if you plan to skip entree and go with appetizers only). The chicken finger from the kids menu is surprisingly delicious. Very generous size, chicken breast is juicy and fresh. It comes with fries too so don’t double order the side! Could have been a five star if we were reminded of the size so we didn’t order excessively. The sampler also takes most of the space on the table so we were constantly shifting / trying to combine plates.

As a diner sitting by himself. I had a pretty terrible experience. The bar was pretty full so I decided to get a table so I have more room to myself. The hostess sat me by the bathroom all the way at the end of the restaurant. This was a pretty quiet space as there was no one there. The restaurant wasn’t even crowded. There was a lot of empty seats but the bar was still pretty crowded.

The waitress took forever to serve anything. Even when the bill was handed to me I had my card on the table and she just walked away. I just don’t understand why she didn’t take the card with the bill. One of the recommended items Spa Haddock was a unique dish that I thought would be good but turned out to be a watery mess. A better option would be to get the seafood trio. For Spa Haddock, the ingredients were good on an individual basis but the miso broth just soak up all the ingredients and you can’t even taste the unique flavors anymore. The idea is good but wasn’t well executed. As a dry dish it would probably fair much better

The food and service were excellent. It was not crowded at the time whenever we arrived. We were able to sit and watch it snow outside,

Went here on my bday solo after a long day of work. The fish was bland but still decent. Thank god for table salt. I know the wait staff is forced to ask if everything is all right but I wish they didn’t bother if they ask with great reluctance and practiced routine. Makes me wish I went to home depot to shop for a stepstool and some rope instead.

It was good, got the chowder and lobster roll. The chowder was good, but lacking great. Flavor development and consistency. But loaded with goods. Now the lobster roll fired on all cylinders and the fries were a great compliment. Great service from the bar.

Surprisingly disappointing first time here. $20 for a single crab cake that tasted like it had more filler in it than crab. Tacos — both the shrimp and the fish — were bland, and fries were the best part though they looked a little sad.

Service was SLOW and inattentive. Water was only filled once after having to ask (the waitress had asked if there was anything else and despite the empty glass, I had to ask for more water). They also sent out the wrong side for my meal (gave me the side ordered by another member of my party). When the bill came, that other member of my party was overcharged for the side salad BUT it was taken off the bill after asking about the overcharge. Didn’t really seem like the waitress knew the menu very well.

Inside was very modern and open, but it also meant it was very loud.

Overall, I won’t be coming back here as the food and service aren’t worth the price tag, and there’s better options that are not far from here.

I didn’t have a good experience at Surf in Portsmouth. Tried this one out with some friends on a busy Saturday night. It was busy so I can’t complain about the service. He was nice. The food was just ok. Best Sushi is still the best at Karma for those who are looking but at least it was fresh. The salmon dish was delicious. The salad was fresh and yummy. The shrimp taco was average, the Portuguese stew has no flavor and the other dish there was also just ok. The drinks were good. The atmosphere was open modern concept. It is situated in a busy Plaza with mix use. Parking is hell. Wasn’t a complete disappointment.
