Was a little leary after reading some of the reviews prior to our visit, didn’t know what to expect. Was very impressed, from the staff, to the layout, and the accommodations. Very professional front desk, room was a little different of a layout that I’m used to, be perfect, and our room was close (in walking distance) to the lounge and restaurant. By the way, Hope in the lounge was AWESOME!!! She made us feel like we were regulars even though it was my first time. The complimentary breakfast hit the spot as well. Looking forward to booking our next visit back real soon.

have stayed here a few times in the past few years and have never had an issue. This past weekend I stayed at the turf, and cannot fathom how incredibly downhill this motel has gone. The General Manager Tiffany was very rude and needs to take some customer service classes. Even worse, when checking in the owner was standing right in the doorway. He did nothing. Come to find out the General Manager is his daughter. He really needs to do something about his management staff. It may be a few dollars cheaper to stay here, but I would rather pay more elsewhere and get treated with respect. I definitely do not recommend staying here unless you don’t mind unfriendly people that seem to not be happy with where they work. The owner Mr. Marcus really needs to reevaluate the employees that are handling customers. On and positive note, the cleaning staff was very friendly, and that is the only positive thing I have to say.

Awesome experience. Went up there with a group of guys for a bachelor party and they made it a great time! From the payment to the shuttles to making sure that golf was taken care of, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. We are already planning another trip up there next summer for a guys trip!! (Food was good and drink prices were amazing!!)

I was very pleasantly surprised by The Turf Motel. I stayed in the newly renovated portion and the rooms were just as nice as the Hampton Inn/Holiday Inn Express. It offered a great value as well, I saved roughly $100 off the price of the hotels listed above for a two night stay. Very conveniently located to the casino with free shuttle.

This is a fine place to stay. The rates are reasonable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I am writing this review using the Turf’s free Wi-Fi. We had dinner at the restaurant in the hotel – again, the prices were very reasonable. Everything was tasty, particularly the turtle cheese cake! The Turf is located right next to the Hollywood Casino, and it seems like they remodeled recently. Our room came with a jacuzzi – can’t really go wrong there! I will definitely stay here again =)

My grandparents stay at the Turf Motel every year they come up and vist; never once have they complained. The rooms are clean, fresh, and adequately sized and the bathrooms accessible to those of olet age. I would recommend anyone to stay at the Turf Motel, it’s been there that long for a reason 😉

The older part to the Motel needs to be torn down… The walkway outside of our 2nd floor room was so slanted, looked like it was ready to fall at anytime.. Room was somewhat clean but very outdated. Shower was meant for someone who was only 5 feet tall. floors creaked, toilet was loose, etc. We were given vouchers for a Free Buffet breakfast. Got there at 8:30, Eggs looked horrible, and the rest of the buffet was empty. Waitress was too busy talking to notice that there was no food on the buffet. I got a cup of coffee & we went to McDonalds across the street.

The service was great however the food was awful. Salad had hard tomatoes no croutons and the dressing was from a bottle. ( maybe I’m spoiled) but 25.00 dinner I was expecting a little flavor. I even got rosemary butter on my steak garlic potatoes but not much taste , I was just a little disappointed leaving half my dinner there. Normally I would get a Togo box but this wasn’t worth taking

My husband and I came to this restaurant after driving around Charlestown. We ordered 8oz. steak dinners. The steaks were one of the best steaks we’ve ever had. The resyof the meal was great also. We even ordered two steaks to go. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

The motel was not what I had expected when I arrived, for the $180 I had to pay! when I walked into the lobby there was a scent I assume from the old carpet that they have. My room was very tiny to be a suite, the chair in the room had looked as if a dog had shedded , the carpet was not vacuumed and to top it off it was human hair on my pillow! If this was a 3.8 star motel I would hate to imagine what a 2 star looks like! Thanked God i had packed my own sheets and comforter. It felt as if I was consumed to my bed once it was made; to scared to walk on the carpet or sit in the chair! I will not recommend this place to anyone!!!!!!
