Staff are friendly and professional. Food is good. Nice portions. Liked it better when tacos and burritos came with few tortillas chips. Now have to purchase full basket if you want chips. Guacamole is fantastic

So disappointed on a recent visit. Staff was lovely and it was fast. Warm chips and salsa bar were delicious. Sadly there was little salsa left in the server and my mahi taco salad had dry tasteless fish. The happy side was that the greens were fresh. But, the salad had little flavor. Since I had not visited in a long time I am not certain of this was a one off. I hope so!

Absolutely amazing food!! Absolutely amazing service. The man behind the counter was Absolutely patient and full of knowledge. We have one diabetic in our crew and one with celiac disease. He went over the menu with us and told us not only what was good but what they each could have. The restaurant wasn’t empty and a line was forming and he still addressed all of our issues. Thank you for an absolutely amazing experience. I highly recommend checking them out!!!

The food is generally good, but lately the portions have become embarrassingly small. My most recent order had no cheese at all and next to no meat—just a handful of lettuce and tomato in a tortilla. Genuinely unacceptable, especially considering it was only 5 PM, nowhere near the end of the night.

A great addition to the family of fast food Mexican restaurants. The food was very fresh tasting and didn’t have the heavy greasy feel of some Mexican places. I ordered a steak burrito bowl; the steak was good quality and had a significant portion. The guacamole was good and they offer a salsa bar. Finally the atmosphere is very inviting and festive.

Walked in around 240 on a Friday. Was empty inside. Got a beef supreme to go. The meat was completely unseasoned. The wrap looked appetizing, but when I bit into it I was sadly disappointed, it tasted like nothing. 13 bucks to waste

What a joke of an establishment. Went in to pick up my takeout order today around 7pm and when I grabbed my bag it was very light in weight. Opened up the bag to find a kid sized burrito which cost me $17. When I asked what seemed to be a high school girl on her phone behind the counter if my order got mixed up, she shrugged her shoulders and said they must have not filled my burrito. She did nothing to correct the situation. Never ordering from here again.

I am a regular at Surf Taco of Red Bank. I may now steer away from this location, or Surf Taco as a whole. Skepticism is at a high point for me here. The menu has changed within the last 6 months, omitting many options like enchiladas with no replacements. Today put me over a bit:
I placed a take-out order on the app. I ALWAYS check my order before I leave because 25% of the time something is wrong. My waffle fries had no cheese. I usually order them with shredded cheese melted instead of queso. I opened the box, no cheese. I questioned the team, and they went to go ask. “It’s on the side”. Idk who puts shredded cheese on the side for fries. I explained that they always melt it for me regardless of whether I ask melted or not. “We don’t do that here”. Then the manager comes out telling me they “no longer melt cheese here”. Really? He asked me if I wanted queso instead which I don’t normally enjoy. I said yes. He very awkwardly hands me a cup of queso, almost with a smart look on his face. My immediate thoughts were “he did something to this.” I grabbed it from him, thanked him, and left. Threw it out afterwards. They also never give you your cup to fill with soda if a drink is a part of your order. Is it a free for all? Do I grab my own? Today I did. And tomorrow, I won’t be back. Or the next day, I think. Otherwise, very friendly staff.
I do not appreciate the laziness of the kitchen and removal of several menu options. It’s sad. And with Jackson now closed, I see Red Bank tanking.

Food was super fresh and the employees were helpful. The restaurant and outdoor dining tables were very clean. It’s a weird thing to say but my only “complaint” is that the chicken tender tacos were too big to take a bite out of without being awkward (but that’s a good problem to have).
