The pink pancakes at the Pink Palace of the Pacific, what more could you ask for on the world’s most famous beach?
This was an absolute delightful breakfast. We saved it for our last morning in Waikiki and looked forward to it all week. After an early morning surf, we hit the restaurant and enjoyed three orders of the Pink Pancakes. They were garnished so beautifully and had all these fancy little touches.
Take a little bit of the magic home with Pink Pancake Mix from the Royal Hawaiian Bakery further inside the hotel.

Phenomenal breakfast with views of Waikiki. There’s a huge selection for breakfast and the staff were super attentive and helpful. We loved that you can sit under umbrellas while you wait for your table, the pink pancakes, presentation, and local dishes.

We had no problem being seated at 9:15 for breakfast. The Restaurant was lively with most tables seated or being reset.
We shared a papaya platter, Short rib Benedict, and a keiki pancake with bacon. The food was really good with the pancakes being exceptional.
What really stood out was the service. Grayson was always there to assist with refills and service.
A visit to the table by the manager Keenan made it even better. They made breakfast a lovely experience and I would highly recommend the restaurant as a treat for yourself and others if you’re looking for something better than good.
It was a wonderful meal and a great way to start your morning.

Can’t be beat. Historic hotel and classic dining on the beach. To be at the grand ole hotel is something special to me. I wish the pulled pork hash was still on the menu. Oh, well! I still ate well.

I have been counting down the days for the past two years to reunite my taste buds with this delectable plate of food, and I was not disappointed. I savored every last crumb.

Excellent way to start the day. Get here shortly before opening and be seated immediately. Watch from your table as the sun rises and the beach comes alive. Good view of diamond head too. Recommend the Guava Juice and the pink pancakes. The coffee is just okay but is bottomless. Service is excellent.

I absolutely loved my experience here! The food was delicious. The views were idyllic, and I love the design of the restaurant with all of the pink umbrellas. I ordered the pink pancakes and salmon lox bagel. It’s also fun to walk around the hotel while you’re waiting for your table or after you eat.

Very nice place to enjoy pink pancakes. Breakfast is definitely this places forte. The Royal Hawaiian Mai Tai was made great for an early sip. The Pink Palace was damn near perfect boasting the best sliced pineapple in the city. If you go here of course it’s for the Signature Royal Hawaiian Pink Palace Pancakes, they were very delicious and filling. The Royal Parfait had fresh blueberries & bananas. Now for this Short Rib Benedict, I have never had a breakfast that was so flavorful in years. And the potatoes on the side looked burnt but were done to perfection. I wanted to order two of these meals but found myself very full & delighted with my breakfast. The ambiance was nice, The service could have been a little better. Besides staring at me the whole time like I’m not going to pay for my meal lol. Let’s just say I noticed other people getting better attention. I would eat here again just for that Short Rib Benedict . Couldn’t go wrong with the Ocean view either. Was very nice to be able to just walk 10ft away from the table and go lay on the beach for awhile and then enjoy the ocean waters. It is a bit pricey but you’ll definitely get your monies worth with portion & taste.
