We stopped here on the way home from Cape May.
Homemade chicken salad with walnuts & grapes. It had chunks of chicken not shredded. It was delicious. Hubby had the fried pickle burger and he ate every last bite of it. . We both upgraded to fries which were excellent. The bartender/server was friendly and service was good. We found out she is the owner’s daughter. The restaurant and bathroom were both neat and clean. They do offer outside seating which permits dogs. We got to meet their new mascot, an 8 week old mini sheepadoodle, so cute!
Side note: they offer a rewards program.

As a 1st time customer, I found the business had a great menu selection providing unique items that tasted great. My son ordered a Philly Cheesesteak pizza and ate the whole thing in one sitting. (He’s 12 at 100lbs) I can’t vouch for his taste buds but he said he really liked it. The bang bang chicken Sandwich tasted great.
The service was great too. The manager/owner (idk) checked on all customers, a couple of times,to see how everyone was doing, which was nice. Our server was nice and probably more pleasantly sociable as a Chick-fil-A employee. My experience lead me to tip well and I hope that your experience will be the same.

Well-behaved, leashed pups are welcome through the main entrance and can head straight to the patio for a relaxed dining experience. The menu is packed with favorites, and the staff is more than happy to accommodate dietary needs.
We especially love their nod to other local businesses, check out the New Jersey craft beer selections alongside an extensive drink list. Happy Hour runs Tuesday–Saturday from 4–6 PM and Sundays from 3–5 PM, with great food and drink specials.

Came with a party of 6 on Saturday night after calling around 3pm for a reservation at 6pm. We were greeted and sat promptly, our waitress was attentive and courteous. All of our food was delivered in a very reasonable amount of time for a busy Saturday night, my tsunami burger was massive and my wives club sandwich was also much bigger than expected. Everything tasted great and we needed a box to go for halves of both sandwiches. We would definitely visit again when we are back in the area!

We went on a Saturday for lunch. There were a few couples at the bar. The staff was friendly and attentive. Our meals were served relatively quickly. The food was good.

Food was PHENOMENAL. Blackened Tuna appetizer was incredible. Jersey Crab Cake entree was great, and so was the crab cake sandwich. Outdoor seating was nice. Service was great, although we were served a coleslaw we didn’t order and thought it was a part of the dinner (which was added to the bill). The server seemed a little bit overwhelmed (to no fault of hers) and was still fantastic. Would absolutely return.

Went with a party of 7, was told we could have a booth with a chair at the end perfect no worries. After waiting for at least 5mins I got my own chair. We ordered drinks all 5 sodas were flat and zero carbonation. Placed our order when my grandson noticed bugs crawling around on his plate! That was enough for me, we packed up and left let the staff know and the guy looked completely dumbfounded. Not surprised this guy was 100% clueless.

So glad we gave Surf Dog a try! We sat outside and despite the sweltering weather the patio was cool and breezy. The food was fantastic with generous portions. I got the Tsunami Burger without the bun: it was huge and delicious. My husband has the pork tacos and only one was left by the time I took a photo. The staff was friendly and stopped by several times to check on us. There was a guitarist performing and the music style was pleasant and complimented the atmosphere. Will def be back!

Went there for lunch on a recommendation. Our wings were undercooked and pink inside. The hot dog was served on a roll so soggy it fell apart. And it was freezing in there because the employees kept going in and out of a door with broken hydraulics so it didn’t close. Horrible.
